Chaos - just for fun
Just for fun, not predictions in any way!

In the ACC: FSU loses to Boston College and Florida, Georgia Tech losses to Georgia and Duke loses to Wake Forest:

Result: 10-2 Florida St vs. 9-3 Georgia Tech
ACC Champion: Georgia Tech 10-3

In the Big 12: TCU losses to Texas and Iowa State, Baylor loses to OK and Texas Tech, and Kansas St loses to WVU, Kansas and Baylor.

Result: TCU and Baylor tied at 9-3/co-champs with Baylor having head to head

In the Big 10: Ohio S loses to Indiana/Michigan, Michigan St to Rutgers/Penn, Wisconsin to Iowa/Minnesota, Nebraska to Iowa/Minnesota.

Result: 9-3 Ohio S vs. 9-3 Minnesota
Big 10 Champ: 10-3 Minnesota

Independent: Notre Dame loses Louisville/USC

SEC: Mizzou loses to TN/Arkansas, Alabama loses to Auburn and Miss St. loses to Ole Miss

Result: 10-2 Georgia vs. 10-2 Ole Miss
SEC Champ: 11-2 Georgia

PAC-12: Oregon loses out, USC loses to UCLA, UCLA loses to Stanford, Arizona St. loses to Wash St. and Arizona, Arizona loses to Utah

Result: 9-3 Oregon vs. 9-3 Utah
PAC Champ: 10-3 Utah

Pollsters have no idea what to do, playoffs are:
1 Georgia 11-2
2 TCU 9-3
3 Utah 10-3
4 Georgia Tech 10-3

Minnesota gets left out

We get a Georgia vs. Georgia Tech national championship

Even if this situation occurred, Marshall still wouldn't make the playoffs.

Nobody is saying Marshall deserves to make the playoff. But to not even be ranked in this joke of a poll picked by 12 people including athletic directors from the P5 is a absolute joke. This whole system was designed for the P5 to separate even more. College football has now been ruined just like Nascar was years ago. The greed has taken over and hope everyone involved falls on their face.

There actually theoretically could still be a 6 way tie for the Big 12 title with TCU, Baylor, KSU, OU, UT and WVU all at 6-3. It requires WVU to beat KSU TH as the first step.

Doesn't take much for realistic chaos.
Alabama loses to Auburn
MSU loses to Ole Miss
Oregon loses to Pac 12 South champ
Ohio St. loses to Big 12 W champ or Michigan
FSU loses to BC and/or Florida and/or Duke/GT
TCU loses to Texas
Baylor loses to KSU

Then there are no P5 1 loss teams.

You mean my scenario isn't realistic?

There are at my count 19 teams with 2 losses or less. Of those teams, only Arizona St and Arizona and Baylor and Kansas St play each other, but Alabama/Miss St, Ohio S/Michigan St, TCU/Baylor, TCU/Kansas St, Wisconsin/Nebraska, UCLA/Arizona St, UCLA/Arizona and Mizzou/Georgia have already happened, and Florida St and Duke/Georgia Tech will play each other in the ACC Championship as well as possibly Oregon/UCLA.

So realistically, there are only about 9 teams left for the 4 spots.
