Nah - as the good posters have pointed out after each debilitating loss - anyone can beat anyone on any given night.

March is what counts.

I certainly think they can beat Wichita State, especially on the front line and the boards.

Every program has its ups and downs.

I don't necessarily have an issue with the rebuilding year; it's what we are rebuilding from...... a couple of 1 win performances in the big dance.


Sure, I wonder why we don't have any experienced guards on the roster but, ok, here we are. He picked up Kedren but he's rusty and maybe a little out of game shape.

Markel and Pookie had to sit out a year each (as well as Kedren)......... there's just a lot of rust and inexperience that will have to be played through.

It's going to take awhile for this team to mesh and that's ok BUT losing to CBU really surprised everyone (even JP I think). There's more grass to mow than we thought.......


I hope they circle the wagons and get it together sooner rather than later. I think they can IF JP does a good job coaching them up and bringing them along. I think the talent is there......can he coach it?

We will find out.
