Jobless claims way up

Probably the cold weather. But a big dose if immigration will cure these ills.

If we could shrink the government's share of the GDP, we could grow the economy.

Sadly, that's not going to happen anytime soon.

No surprise here, election is over so there's no need to cook the books. The really sad part is thay they aren't even trying to hide it.

Honestly, it would be a good thing at this point, if the congress just ignored any vetoes Obama might issue on any bills it passes. Just pretend the executive function of our government doesn't matter, and do things by majority rule, starting in January.

Heck, give Obama a dose of his own medicine, and see what he does.

Seems odd in that places should be geared up for seasonal sales.

It doesn't bode well.

We put 2 individuals in the unemployment line in the past few months.

This is what the Democrats do after losing. They look at it as 2 years from the next election, so They feel You will forget about this report and will count it as blaming Republicans winning the most recent election and creating the negative reaction to it. The Democrats will slowly uncover more and more unemployed folks They left off the books to report and later add Them in as Newly unemployed well into the new year. Masters of Deception They are.04-chairshot

Agreed. But isn't it funny how mach was defending the economy under obama just a few days ago, claiming all the news was good. But it doesn't take long before the cracks that individuals see become evident to everyone.

So answer a legal veto from our legally elected President with an illegal temper tantrum...yep, that's right up the GOP alley.

No. Just make him, on the record, cast his vote opposing what the majority of the populous wants. That way he can't be protected by obstructionist Harry who all but allowed him to continue with his famous practice of voting "present".
