Thats just goofy. If Marshall plays their A game, your A game isnt within 20 pts. You need a D performance likr we put up vs WKU when they had an A performance.

.....and you're the same guy that told me a few weeks ago that this was Marshall's BEST team in 40 years. You said there was NO WAY anybody in CUSA could stay on the field with Marshall. And yet, your team didn't even make it thru regular season without a loss. 03-lmfao

Just the facts.

It is Marshalls best team we have ever fielded. For whatever reason, they werent ready to play well and/or not motivated and got demolished on defense.

But its still 1 game. This team is the best in CUSA.

Marshall opens as 14 point favorites as well.

Ill be taking Marshall -14.

Id hate to be a La Tech player saturday. This Herd is really pissed off. The focus and intensity at practice is going to be insane this week.

The only hope Tech has is if

A. Devon Johnson is ruled out due to injury

B. It rains saturday which will reduce our crowd to 70% of what it would be or less and hurts our offense.

C. Both of these happen.

The 1999 Marshall team would roll over the 2014 team.

I'm pretty sure that is something we can all agree on!

The late nineties Marshall Football was really good. That was back when Tech was still independant and had some good years that went unrewarded.

Indeed. I always wanted to play Marshall back then. Rattay vs Pennington would have been fun to watch.

Tech fans sound like every CUSA fan (including ODU's) BEFORE they played Marshall, then they came away humbled. However, if Johnson doesn't play, that's not the same team. They are still good, but it's a toss up.

I am so excited to see Diaz make the Thundering Turds offense look terrible. I really do believe Marhsa wont make it out of the 20s. Techs D vs Cato and his boys should be very interesting. I can see it now, MU gets less than 350 yards and scores 17. Then the excuses start. Cato threw 5 ints and fumbled 2 times, if that doesn't happen the Turds win by 200.

I can see a curb stomping in your near future.

I still say that the 1999 Marshall team that finished #10 and dominated #21 BYU in the bowl game would of killed #2 Virginia Tech and would of given given #1 Florida State hell. FSU was damn good though.

I just think its great that out of 24 halves this year we have played one bad offensive one and one bad defensive one but because of that we are now some second tier team in the eyes of certain La Tech fans. I hope your team views the world through the eyes of those fans.

Certain is correct. I think Marshall is very, very good and if we don't play our best, it will be ugly. Cato is at his best when he is out of the pocket and that could give us fits, imo. Plus, your defense matches ours stat for stat... they are very fast and athletic.

Good Tech beats the **** out of them, bad Tech loses or wins a close one. Our D will show up, just depends on the O and special teams.

Why should I put myself through the humiliation of going to the stadium for this predictable blood bath. I hope they don't beat us up so bad that we are unable to play in a bowl game due to lack of healthy players.

Tech fans think we have a shot to win - what's wrong with us?

Lol that's just absurd. Bad Tech lost to ODU and a 1-AA team. They would stand absolutely no chance playing poorly against Marshall. Both teams need to being their A games if they want to win. You're allowed to be a fan of your team, but you need to be realistic or you just come across like a troll.

I'm making the trip. Hoping good Tech does too. I will be partying Saturday night either way. Drowning sorrows or celebrating.
