.....and you're the same guy that told me a few weeks ago that this was Marshall's BEST team in 40 years. You said there was NO WAY anybody in CUSA could stay on the field with Marshall. And yet, your team didn't even make it thru regular season without a loss.

Just the facts.

It is Marshalls best team we have ever fielded. For whatever reason, they werent ready to play well and/or not motivated and got demolished on defense.

But its still 1 game. This team is the best in CUSA.

Marshall opens as 14 point favorites as well.

Ill be taking Marshall -14.

Id hate to be a La Tech player saturday. This Herd is really pissed off. The focus and intensity at practice is going to be insane this week.

The only hope Tech has is if

A. Devon Johnson is ruled out due to injury

B. It rains saturday which will reduce our crowd to 70% of what it would be or less and hurts our offense.

C. Both of these happen.

So....you're already making excuses. Got it.

Yep....the excuses have already started.

Spread opened at Marshall -14 and has now moved to -11 so more money is falling on the Tech side. That said Vegas has Marshall as a pretty big favorite on Saturday

Stupid to you perhaps but it makes perfect sense to me. I'm glad C-USA handles it this way. Football was meant to be played in all conditions.

Meanwhile, at Rice...

Two weeks ago I would have confidently picked La Tech. Not just because they have a good team, but I think when you win a lot of games in a row it is human nature to get a little complacent and have a bit of a let down.

I think the loss to WKU may actually help to refocus Marshall in the title bout.
