Buffalo would be a geographic problem, especially if Army is invited and UConn is allowed back in to the Big East. UCF will want a southern school.

I didn't know UConn was joining the new big east

If this were to happen, we'd probably have to at least consider it.

If this were to ever happen, UCONN would just say f it and shut down the athletic department....probably the entire university...

If the B12 was to expand Boise would probably be their first choice. The second most logical choice might be Houston since the B12 lost A&M and would want to replace them.

I understand

I still think the AAC can remain very competitive though.

The MAC conference has 6 teams from Ohio. I wish the AAC would raid at least a couple of them. They can have Toledo and Miami as far as I'm concerned.

Boise would be a great add but does the B12 want another island school like WVU? Then again, not like Cinci is close either.

IMO there is no way the b12 adds Memphis. Of Ucf doesn't get in the next round we might as well become a bball school and move football because the money won't be enough to make a return on investment. If the b12 are that blind I am not sure I want to be there. I think replacements come from the mwc because most of the money is going to Boise and we need reasonably large markets and good teams. Espn will dictate who we add.

This is too easy. It will be NIU and USM.

The AAC decides to concentrate on basketball; University of the Sciences and Drexel.

RE: So who will be Memphis and Cincinnati raid replacements?
NIU - there is an emphasis on building bigger for a reason, Chicago market
UTSA - a large market and an up and comer, like UCF or USF

Mo St, JMU and Wichita St to CUSA to backfill. UAB and Wichita St as non-football. Mo St and JMU had their shots with the Sun Belt last year, but they seemed to know something would happen that could get them into CUSA. Carr was consulting for UAB plus JMU and Mo St. UAB paid Carr to deliver a report to shut down football.

UMKC and ORU backfill for MVC

WAC and Summit would be on the verge of losing their autobids.
