Yeah, 14,000 yards, 125 TDs, 22 wins the last two years. Cato is okay.

He's good, but it seems he made a lot more bad throws than good throws. A lot of the credit has to go to Marshall's OC for finding the crossing patterns in the 2nd half. But, I think he should have realized that going into the game... it's our weakness.

She's been doing Big East, AAC, ACC, and Big Ten games for ESPN for almost a decade now.

Frankly, I thought Beth Mowins did a great job of calling the play by play today. She was as hell of a lot smarter than Joey Galloway. He was just wrong about everything. Really out of his element.

But he definitely outplayed Sokol.

Sokol = HUGE disappointment.

I'm just having a little fun with banker.

Cato has had a great career. The Dogs but him on the run today and he delivered in the end.

Our quarterback played like horse---- though

I too was, "oh no, a woman calling the game." But, the more I listened to her she was okay. I just tuned out her voice but still listened, (does that make sense) and she was a B.

Eat S... arrogant LA Tech fans.

Classy

I apologized. It was not cool of me at all, blood pumping way too much.

"I agree - anyone that watched the game knew it was ours to win

Congrats to Marshall - I have been pulling for you'll all season and will be in your bowl game! Maybe Boise will lose to Fresno tonight"

I still feel awful for acting like a total classless tool earlier on that last play. Tech fans, my doushy reaction is not indicative of most Herd fans or even at all how I feel about your team. Like you said we were lucky to pull it off at the end there.

My reaction was mainly out of my phone being blown up all game by co-workers giving me crap, and as a moment of weakness, vented.

Your team played better for 58 minutes it seemed, so I am in all honesty still in shock. It's been a very emotionally charged 8 days for herd fans.

Now go win your bowl!

That's cool - I have been there too 04-cheers

Fun game to watch and if we play 10 times it's probably 5-5 between 2 good teams

I doubt we turn it over 4 or 5 times with the blocked punt every game. This was your best shot and we didnt have what made us a dominant team in johnson.

Go herd.

I keep reading that comment about you guys not having Johnson. I guess you just choose to ignore the fact that LA Tech lost 6 players --including 5 starters-- immediately before this game? Plus, we were ON THE ROAD.

Regardless, this was a great CHAMPIONSHIP game. I think it was a good advertisement for CUSA. And it was a far cry from the 50-point blowout (for Marshall) that you had been predicting. A few weeks ago you said that "this Marshall team is Marshall's best team in 40 years, and that nobody else in CUSA is even going to come close." That was hardly the case.

They both spent too much time talking about tomorrow's playoff selection show and lost focus on the game a few times. If ESPN wants female announcers I'd much prefer a more feminine over a woman trying to sound like a man.

Great game LaTech fans, Herd was very fortunate to win today. Sorry about the weather, just absolutely miserable, wind chill was at 36 w /driving rain at halftime. Both QB's didn't play their best, but how anyone can criticize them in that weather is beyond me. Your guys physically dominated both lines and were just soooooo tough. Look forward to many more great games w/ your team, such a great addition to CUSA! Congrats on a great season and now go win your bowl game!

I know exactly what you mean... both option are awful though. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

The day a woman calls an NFL game is the day I move to Europe.

Seriously, I couldn't watch this **** with the volume on. What is the idea here? Why is this happening?

That's what happens when you are pressured on every throw coupledwith terrible weather. You all did a good job getting to Cato and staying in his face. Our OLine had a rough time woth your blitz packages.

Cato is an excellent college QB. The only thing miasing from his resume was a championship and he got that today.

Tech has a great team and the thing that impressed me the most was they didn't talk trash or act like thugs as some teams do. Very impressed with their play and their demeanor. Kudos to Holtz and the staff for keeping them focused. Good group you have there. Good luck in your bowl!
And thanks to the Tech fans that came. Miserable day from the weather standpoint.
