I teach in a military town in NC and we get kids from all over the country. The quality of education all over the country is bad. I have a kid who transferred in from Chicago who thought the British won the civil war and Barak Obama gave the "I have a dream" speech. I blame it on "No child left behind".

I blame it on the parents. Too many of them don't give a ****.
