It seems like every year a team comes out of nowhere to make a run at the Big 10 title, who will it be this year? I left off Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio State because they are the preseason favorites.

I went with Penn State. They don't appear to have the tools right now, but if they put it all together this team could surprise a lot of people. Zach Mills would have to be a top 2 or 3 QB in the Big Ten, and thats not out of the question.

They won't come close to a BigTen title, but Illinois will be better than most people think, and they just might make it to the Motor City Bowl..... admittedly, if they don't make it or they get blown out there by Toledo, Marshall, Miami OH, or whoever, then Turner will probably be canned, anyway.

The Spartans will be. Staton will open eyes in the big ten when he becomes one of the best QB's in the big ten becuz he will bloom quickly in the spread. Cobb will produce that running that the spartans haven't had since duckett and will let the spartans throw the ball even better than last season. and going to michigan the spartans have a great chance of being 6-1 or even 7-0. with alot of improvments on Def. the spartans Def could end up being in the top 3 in the league and with vast improvments on the pass def. after moving Hayes there is looking to be alot better from last season. the spartans WR is strong with Brown,Alexander, and Shabaj all returning plus with Matt Trannon showing signs of being the WR that we though he'd be coming out of high school. Trannon is a 6-6, 228 pound WR, he also plays basketball for the spartans.
Don't be Surpised to see the Spartans end the season with anywhere from 2 to 4 losses. and with a late game in Hawaii it should keep them fresh to win a bowl game.

Though I hate to say it Michigan is not a surprise team, they are picked to be at the top of the b10 every year. But I will be very surprised if they DO go undefeated in the big ten, and I wont be surprised if they make up bs excuses for every game they lose.

I picked Minnesota. That running game is incredible and for once they actualy have some size and speed. They should do pretty with that schedule, that is as long as they dont pull another choke job like they did at Michigan last year.

No way to distinguish the difference between sarcasm and just being stupid through text, and being a scUM fan I assumed it to be the later

Pretty nice distribution of percentages in the poll. Just goes to show how much parity there will be in the conference this year.

"MSU, again!"
Maybe in hockey :roflol: Michigan State will finish no better than 5th in the big ten. The most talented team with the easiest schedual will win this year. That Team would happen to be Michigan!! The game at the horse shoe wont even be that big of event do to the fact that the bucks will have 3 losses heading into that game.
Hail to the Victors and Hail to Michigan State being Big Blue's biatches :D

You wish.
And you, as a Michigan fan, should know that even if scUM and the Buckeyes went in both 0-11, it would still be the best college football game of the year.
