Family Stuff To Do In Lynchburg
I will be taking my daughter to CFAW in April at Liberty. What is there to do for families in Lynchburg? I know my daughter will be busy, but I'll have my wife and 3 sons in tow. Any good places (other than the James River) to fish? Hoping their might be a sporting event or two to go see on campus.

Trust me the James river is all you need for fishing. Some of my best college memories was getting up super early on a sat and fishing the James. Most days it would be just me and the river with no one around for miles. In taking my nephew and son to a baseball camp in June and I plan on hitting the James for a couple days. It's worth your time to take a trip over to Appomattox and see where the civil war ended. If it's warm hit the peakd of otter and climb to the top. Great trails everywhere.

We've done Appomattox before. It was really awesome. I will look up the other place you suggest.

What's the best non-chain local restaurants to hit while at Liberty, for a taste of the local stuff?
