At our middle school library, we had to bann Harry Potter for the same reason.

I know a lot of bank accounts that disappear when engagement rings are purchased.

War on boys in our schools. Boys are wired differently than girls, and they are discriminated against.

It's gotten too crazy. I would hate to be in school nowadays. Those stupid PCers are destroying this country. There will only be effeminate men in this country and forget fighting any wars. The generations that fought our wars are getting old and dying. The PCers will let Islam run through this country.

But it looks like the kid's ring did have magical powers. It did make the other kid disappear (as well as the rest of the kids in his class, while he stays away suspended).

Liberal/Progressive "logic":

Nine year old states his magic ring can make another kid disappear = terroristic threat.

Same nine year old states another classmate is black = racism.

Same nine year old brings children's encyclopedia to school with a chapter on pregnancy = porn.

I guess this boy is now labled a "troublemaker" since he has received suspensions for each of these actions. FWIW, another article on this story said that the reason the boy brought the encyclopedia (called The Big Book of Knowledge) to school was they were studying the solar system and He thought his teacher would be impressed. The scary thing is this occurred in Texas for crying out loud. Not exactly the liberal capital of the world.
