Alternate history
I'm a real big fan of alternate history stories like Harry Turtledove's Timeline 191 and the book and HBO movie Fatherland. Amazon Prime now has one of the classics of the genre in Philip K. Dicks Man in the High Castle. I plan to watch it with the wife tomorrow night and hope it does the book justice.

Orson Scott Card's Pastwatch - The Redemption of Christopher Columbus won both the Hugo and Nebula Award when it was released.
