just looking at this- the last 2 teams in were UTEP and Toledo. Buffalo just beat Central Michigan, so that knocks one of those 2 teams out. However, Harvard beat Yale and the thought was that Yale wouldn't get in if they lost. So UTEP has hope- but really needs Montana, Stephen F Austin, New Mexico St, and Georgia St to win to not have any more NIT bid thieves.

I don't think the MAC game had any affect. Either team was probably going to be in the NIT any way.

Montana is up 11 with 6:00 left. SFA is up at half.

good point on Buffalo/Central Michigan. So they're one of the last 2 in. With 4 more teams left to sift out. looking pretty good if the bracket is accurate!

Montana completely imploded 21-6 run to end the game for Eastern Washington on Montana court too..

RE: Barring a miracle for ODU
still think UTEP is in decent shape- by far the most dangerous opponent for a 1 seed is Sam Houston St and it's a 11 point game right now...

SFA and NMSU won their games tonight, and hopefully Georgia St. does too. The projection bumped UTEP up to a 6 seed, so maybe it's looking up.

Sucks for ODU, I'd honestly put them in over UGA, Ole Miss, UCLA, etc. ODU at least has decent wins.

Yep, that's a tough one for us Miner fans to swallow. But they did so there won't be any NIT picks from the WAC. Thanks Aggies. 03-puke

GAST 38, GASO 36 final. So, no NIT bid stolen.

Funny. I just saw RJ Hunter jump into a defender and get two free throws out it. I thought that was an "easy call" against the offense in that situation.

Not that I'm still bitter or anything.

lol Amazing what playoffs can do for you. Kind of like a Cowboys fan having to root for the Redskins to make the playoffs.

ESPN owns the NIT. There will be ONE CUSA team in it.

Unless odu gets into the tournament they're a lock for the nit and LA tech gets the auto bid so we will get two unless we get 2 ncaa bids.

I stand by what I predict. I hope we get 2 or more in but I think LT will be it.

So close. Make a few free throws against MTSU and we're in.
