RE: CUSA NIT thread
Am I the only person who has figured out that our junk defenses haven't worked since the Tennessee game last year?

La Tech look good on TV. Seems like a lot of one and done, need to get after the glass. On the other end it seems everything the Racers throw up goes.

You guys need a new coach. How are you guys not dominating in the post with the players you guys have? Plus, your defense is horrible.

Murray state looks pretty good - tough to win on the road UTEP. I don't know if we would have beat CMU on the road tonight.

I can't explain our defense. We were one of the best defenses last year and we just lost Bohannon from last season. That hurt, but it doesn't account for our perimeter guys getting beat early and often. And, the bad news is that we're probably going to take another step back next year. So, we better figure it out on the offensive end quickly

At least it's the higher seed that gets the advantage.

I'm disappointed for the seniors. Lang especially. He improved so much over the years. Still hoping Washburn becomes the next Bruce Bowen. Cooper's best year was last year.

Loyd got outcoached in the second half as Murray is not that much talented than UTEP.

The sad fact is that Murray is head and shoulders a better program than UTEP. Better players, better coach. And that point is not really debatable right now.

Billy Gillispie, come on down. I was in the minority when I opposed UTEP hiring Tim Floyd over Billy Gillispie. Is he still unemployed?

Good luck the rest of the way Monarchs and Dawgs. aTm has been riding taking Kentucky to 2 OTs for a while now. And, I hope ODU gets some revenge on Illinois St. Hope to see you both in MSG.

RE: CUSA NIT thread
Love the way UC Davis is going after Stanford. Only down 1 at the half.

UTEP had a rough draw against a mad Murray State, but concur that the size of UTEP was never fully exploited. Murray State is in the tourney they earned, but would have liked to see UTEP punish them. Floyd needs to learn some impulse control, as two games now that he has lost his marbles. Not cool for the kids he coaches that are expected to hold their emotions.
