Rice Men going for the title this afternoon against Louisiana of Lafayette at noon at the new Tennis Center.
Winner of this match should be ranked next week. Rice beat #19 Northwestern last week, and #40 Corpus Christi yesterday. LoL was ranked earlier in the season, and also beat TAMUCC yesterday.

Men's tennis Owls seal the deal on the weekend sweep by taking Louisiana Lafayette 4-0!

Doubles, plus singles wins on 1,3&6 did the trick! Won first set singles on all but 1 court, and leading in second set in all unfinished matches.

Nice job and we will look to move into the ITA team rankings next week!

After seeing the A&M result (#8 in the latest rankings), and then remembering this comment about rankings, it's good to see the Rice men at #48 this week.

They are the top team entering the rankings from being unranked last week. And that's out of 75.
