Gonzaga gets Duke today. No ACC rep in the Final Four which is pretty amazing considering they had 5 teams in the Sweet 16.

ACC hasn't had a team in the Final 4 in five years!

We'll see if Duke can end that right now. 07-coffee3

Matters to me, because I have the only bracket in two bracket pools with Michigan State in the Final Four.

Guess you are lucky that you don't have me in either of your pools then. I had both Michigan State and Louisville in this game and I had Sparty pulling it off.

If that happens then that will be startling. The ACC was the best basketball conference this year. For them to end up without a rep in the Final Four is shocking, if that happens.

I have Duke in my Championship game against Kentucky but...this Gonzaga team is good and some how Duke doesn't stack up against them all that well. I only wish I knew back then what I know now about Gonzaga. I would have never predicted an Iowa State vs Iowa match up, that's for sure.

In the larger pool, it is kind of surprising that I had the only one of 40 brackets with MSU in the Final Four. I just looked at that regional and figured the top three seeds (Villanova, Virginia, Oklahoma) were going to lose, so I wasn't going to pick any of them. I still need Duke to lose at some point to win that pool, though. Another guy wins it if they win the title.

And........

Doesn't mean much but it will be anything but easy. Throw out the records and the seedings, its March Madness.

Also, to anyone who counts Izzo and his Spartans out before the 2nd half doesn't know Izzo. Sparty is always a 2nd half team.

Yeah, for me it was purely analytical. Where I may have been wrong about Gonzaga, I was right about Villanova. In terms of Virginia, I felt that MSU was the perfect counter to them. Plenty of defense with a strong counter punch transition ability. As far as Oklahoma? I really didn't know anything about them and that alone told me all I needed to know.

Michigan State was definitely given a big gift in that Izzo was in the perfect bracket to get himself to the top coach position in wins as the lower seed team in a game.

2015 is almost the year of The Big Ten. Time for Wisconsin to spoil the perfect season and for Sparty to show that Blue Blood is not necessary.

An all Big Ten Championship game to deliver both Major Men's Championships to The Big Ten this year?

She does SEC football on CBS.

I, first, discovered the angelic Allie when I skipped class to watch March Madness, a couple of years ago. Man, I wish I was an athlete or rich.
