Skipped Cardio today; trying to make up for it with extra weight reps. Fell off the wagon a bit diet-wise. Hopefully will get back into the cardio groove tomorrow.

Slam dunked beer *shudder* Sunday night. Had a vodka fresca and Cap'n n diet Dr. K. since. That should spell about 1k calories per eve, or more right there.

Yes. Me likey my beers. But this is okay too.

This week so far-

Sun- 90 minutes of full court basketball
Mon - 5 miles walk
Tue- 11 miles walk
Wed- 3 miles walk and 90 minutes of full court basketball

Walking does not help me lose weight but it makes me feel better. I follow my food calories on mapmyfitness.com. I try to stay around 2,100 calories a day. it works until the easter candy is found. : )

Have been doing 45 minutes on the treadmill. It's the only change I've made so far. But it's working. Hope the same for all y'all.

I've been moving to my new house. Sadly I lost 5 ibs before weigh in. Losing weight even while eating poorly due to the sheer amount of heft I'm shifting around.

Did a 5.5 mile run/walk this morning. Tomorrow I have a 4 mile run/walk.

Week 1 is about over...Don't forget to send me your weights Tuesday!

I'll probably be out tomorrow. Traveling for work, eating bad, getting sick and not working out, does not equal a good result.

And if you do get eliminated from the first competition, you are still eligible for the overall 12 week competition! I'd like to see different winners for both!

I'm just hoping the contest organizer doesn't get knocked out the first week!

True story, my company did a weight loss competition back in 2007. I did OK the first few weeks, I was down a few pounds but didn't think I'd be competing for a top 3 position, which won money.

The final two weeks of the competition, I got really ill, and ended up losing about 15-20 pounds. Ended up finishing second and won some money! Not exactly the way to do it, but it worked!

Unfortunately the steroids I was put on afterwards made me gain it all back and more.

Well that along with playing 9 holes of golf with beer and wings afterwards didn't help.
