Spring Football
There hasn't been much about spring football on the board. Has anyone seen any practices or the spring game? Any news on how players are doing?

RE: Spring Football
I think spring practices have been unavailable to the public so there is not much coverage.

RE: Spring Football
There are only two day left of light workouts to wrap up drills. Most of the drills were open to the public until this past week. By all accounts, Des is back in business after missing last year. And we have a bunch of holes to fill on the O-line & LB corps.

Thanks for the shout out BornAJacket. Viewed most of the the video. At 6'1" and 215, I'm guessing LU is looking at him as a LB. Any thoughts?

Yes, LB has been the focus of the discussions. He has played both LB, inside and out for HS team. But last year they used him mostly as a DE.

Do you know of any other schools that have contacted him?

Middle TN State (although I think that's a long shot), Wofford, North Dakota St, Montana, a couple Ivy leagues and lot's of DIII schools. Mostly, typical recruiting emails and flyers, but he's talked with a few coaches and several coaches have contacted his HS for transcripts, etc.

still early in the process unless you are a top D1 player. his summer camps and senior year may get him many more looks.
