All but announced, Bethesda has apparently got a huge chunk carved out for E3, so everyone is thinking that's when the announcement will take place.

No apparently, they have an hour long pressed that Sunday to lead off E3 and the LinkedIn leak all but confirmed we'll see at least a trailer. I also have inside info from a good friend of mine. Game will be out no later than next year.

Hopefully they figure it out graphically, as far as I'm concerned they have no excuse now with how well the other development groups are making these next gen games look.

Speaking of figuring it out, it looks like Ubisoft is turning the page on trying to exploit the crap out of their customers with broken games if the early alphas of the new Deus Ex and AC games progress the way they should in the next half year...that being said, it is a bit troubling that a game set to release in November only has pre-alpha gameplay footage. I'm hoping for a blowout at E3 for them.

Except Deus Ex isn't Ubisoft 03-wink

And why anything beyond pre-alpha before E3? You'll lose all that reach and marketing. And I honestly forgot Dues Ex in my list.

Eidos has been rumored to be acquired by everyone under the sun in the last decade, so I got confused. The 1st in the series is still one of my favorite games in the time, of course now it just wouldn't hold up at all, but back then, it was incredibly groundbreaking.

I understand not doing it pre-E3, but still, having only pre-alpha stuff out 5 and a half months before the release after the shitstorm they had with graphical fidelity, network connectivity, and general gameplay issues in AC:Unity makes it seem like they don't understand how consumer trust works. Don't get me wrong, I'll still end up buying it...

But yeah, my Top 10ish (5 for PS4 and 5 for the XBOne) in no particular order:

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Uncharted 4
Halo 5
No Man's Sky
Quantum Break
Scalebound
Fable Legends
Just Cause 3
The Division
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Firewatch (added due to the rumours of it heading to PS4)

Although I'd be lying if I didn't say I was super excited for the new Harmonix games (I know...I'm not going to have dorm room jam sessions like I did in the mid-late 00's), maybe I'll have kids that can play by then 03-lmfao

How does witcher 3 compare to the prior witcher games? I have both witcher 1 and 2. 2 was a great improvement on one. I have the 3rd is great. I can't bring myself to buy it at full price so I'm playing witcher 2 again. I will likely buy it when it goes on sale on gog.com at Christmas.

I'm a slightly old school gamer. I grew up with planescape torment, baldurs gate, fallout 1 &2. Love those games. Pillars of eternity is a great new game in the older rpg style.

That's the point! If you want to finish just follow the main story, then do the side missions (note some lock after story completion).

Are you a Gamers Club Unlocked member at Best Buy? Saves you 20% on all physical games. That and with all the holiday sales and spot sales that have happened my average per game cost is like $30 03-lmfao

Can't wait for E3 and seeing some of that new Star Fox from Nintendo.

I just want to see how Sony spins the lack of exclusives and the fact the pushed all their forthcoming ones to 2016.

Uh oh...I'm getting a whiff of the fanboy 03-lmfao

I feel like the exclusives arguments is paper thin, seeing as how I'm fairly certain with indies both have roughly the same amount. Both of the major exclusives for each (Halo MC Collection and The Order 1886) were largely broken and underwhelming, so I'm hoping both come back strong this time. I mean, a large portion of my top 10 list are exclusives form both sides, so that should show you there is a lot of forward momentum on both sides. The only thing I'm sure of is Nintendo should just move to software only and license out all their products so the major machines can take a push at them.

Honestly both of your major exclusives are wrong.

I would place Sunset Overdrive and/or Ori over the Halo collection until Halo 5 for Microsoft and Bloodborne over The Order.

And while I am mainly a MS gamer, even the Sony gamers are getting fed up on the exclusive front.

And for clarity: Bloodborne > Ori/SSOD > the rest

Bloodborne has been the only true exclusive to move consoles thus far this generation and would be the first PS4 game I pick up when I purchase the PS4.

Dude, Sunset Overdrive was absolute trash, you have to admit that, but I'll give you Ori, that game is fantastic, and proof that Indies deserve respect when done correctly.

As far as Sony exclusives, I think you're underselling how much Second Son pushed PS3 users to buy a PS4, now capturing the opposing market, that won't work like a Bloodborne would, but it's still something. I do agree that AAA games-wise Sont is lagging on exclusives, but their extensive indie lineup helps them out. For the record, I have both systems and enjoy both (presently Forza for XBOne and The Show for PS4, , which is an essential for any baseball nut, are getting a majority of my playtime along with the old standbys of FIFA and Borderlands).

How was Sunset trash? One of the most fun games thus far this generation. Plus it's just downright fun to explore and grab the collectables.

I wasn't a fan of the E3 trailer for it but once it was close to release I decided to pick it up and have loved it.

I just recently had my first baby born so there's zero time to play anything. But once he's a bit older and sleeping through the night I really need to get through Bloodborne and The Witcher 3....

Thankfully I am still able to game on the 3DS so I've been trying to go through Xenoblade

I don't know man, I just could never get into it, I'll have to throw it in again and see if I feel any differently. I hate games that try way too hard to be "different" when they aren't at all, and it's really obvious that whatever intern wrote that story was just trying to be tongue in cheek about the gaming industry and it got to the point where I just couldn't take it anymore. Plus I've never been a fan of the Dead Rising "random horde of bots assaulting you through a map" type of gameplay.

If you're a fan of exploration, what're your favorite game worlds? I loved the Just Cause 2 map, just so much variety, and it was really the star of the show there seeing as how the voice acting was done by 12 year olds faking accents and the story was a throwaway; AC Black Flag because there has never been anything like it before; Forza Horizon 2, the world makes that my favorite driving game of all time; and the Oblivion map, more for WHEN it came out and how advanced it was at the time.

Oh for sure, I wish they would've just branded that as "Pirates" instead of an AC game, that was one of their marketing plans....would work now that they've proved how much fun it can be.
