Well the B12 isn't exactly known for being proactive or forward thinking so it's a possibility.

ECU will be sliding back into our best pair of slutty daisy dukes and sending out our secret diplomatic whoring weapon for talks with Big12 schools.

Tulsa:AAC:Wake Forest:ACC

Texas does like Tulane - heart of sec and AAU school. Other schools shot it down

Tulane should have been selected over TCU. B12 shat on themselves with their last 2 expansion picks.

The Big XII is quite literally going down the drain.

That means UCFs invite is a lock. We are the canary in the coal mine for conferences. We enter right before or right as a conference goes to ****. Hmmm.... Maybe it's us... Nah.

Oklahoma is apparently not happy with the status quo. Therefore, the Big 12 is currently unstable.

When leagues are unstable, they are prone to being poached.

The GOR will slow it down and give the Big 12 time to regroup, but if they don't fix it in the next few years, then 2025 can't get here soon enough for OU.

Interesting timing on this Tweet from the Memphis president...

Dan Wolken ‏@DanWolken I can't tell you today whether Big 12 is expanding. But after today and revelation about TV deal, I will never trust what they say.

That is his way of saying, the B12 has given him reasons not to expect a call. Brush off So we now know where Memphis stands in the search.

Borland says that if the Big 12 adds 2 teams that the TV contract rises proportionally. Essentially there is very little cost to expanding for Texas.... AND YET THEY HAVENT.

In other words, Texas doesn't want to expand because they dont like their options. I will once again say that they wont expand for a couple more years and ONLY if they get shut out of the playoff.... OR... if the longhorn network turns into the B12 network.

Bingo. Why expand with teams they don't like to make same amount? Right now they all play OU and Texas yearly why would they give up those games to play an AAC school

If they go to 16 like I have said, they'd give up nothing. The only teams who would not be playing Texas and OU yearly would be Iowa State and WVU. Iowa State has said they would rather not have to play all those teams yearly already and WVU want's travel partners. Problems solved.

East: Texas, Tex Tech, Baylor, TCU, OU, OUS, KA and KS.

West: Iowa ST, WVU, UC, Memphis, Tulane, ECU, UCF and South Florida. COGS

Yes he does. That's bad. And south Florida is going no where. The big 12 will never take them. Texas and Oklahoma in the same league as the brand news bulls? Playing in an NFL stadium? The big 12 would break up before they allowed south Florida to join.

Not sure what you mean by this, but Holland is the only reason we caught the last ride out of CDOA. Holland didn't do everything right but he was the best AD in my time as a pirate and it took everything he had to wrench us out of the small time small town bull**** we were mired in. The man deserves a statue.

That's probably part of it. I've also got the impression that the weaker draws like getting Oklahoma and Texas on their schedule every season, guaranteed. Those are big draw games for their programs. Additionally, they like the TV money and aren't keen on other teams dipping in so that they get less.

A school like Oklahoma that is not dependent on a couple of teams for a big draw and not dependent on the TV money, as nice as it is, is far more likely to look at the long term benefits to expansion and what bringing in programs with potential to grow, with big markets and new recruiting areas could mean to the conference.

Tulane is my pick to go to the B12. If Texas likes them then they will be in soon enough. I also think that BYU ends up in the B12.

Tulane and Kentucky round out the BIG XII. Done.

The must like watching games in the empty SuperDome. Worst college game atmosphere I have ever witnessed (along with the older version of Memphis football and UAB).

Not sure if it was mentioned in this thread but the look on Texas boosters faces when they say North Dakota was added to the conference might be worth adding them. It would be the look of Terror and disgust and Terror all at once.
