Any D.C. Tigers here?
My daughter has gotten a new job in Potomac, Md. outside of D.C. at the St. Andrews Episcopal School. She needs to find a house or apt. within commuting range in 3 weeks for about $1500 a mo. We know Montgomery County is the most expensive zip code in the nation, per one publication, with rental costs 2 1/2 times the national average and an extremely competitive rental environment. Mission impossible?

Anyone have any suggestions about which town near there would be not only the best location with rapid transit but the most affordable, safest, and friendly to a 30-something?

All help will be appreciated!

I might check the 2011 UM Alumni Directory and consider calling one or more of the listed UM Potomac residents. Nine are listed.
