With only two scholarships, I am impressed with what the coaching staff is doing. I know some of my enthusiasm is based on how poor the previous staff recruited, there never seemed to be any sense of urgency. If they didn't get someone for fall signing maybe they could come up with someone later. I'm not up on all the recruiting but it appears Tulsa has a number of offers on the table, which puts a little pressure on the recruits to make up their mind quicker or someone will take that scholarship, I like that!! I also like the quality of the recruits, competing with the Big East, Pac 10, Big XII is what we should be doing. It's a lot better than losing out to the MVC or lower Division I teams. I don't know if we will get any of them but I know we are in it until the end, so I applaud Coach Woj and his staff for their energy and tenaciousness!!

If we can get Jerome Randle to sign I would be so happy.

It's looking really good today. Wow -- what a difference a year makes. In the last couple of years, we lost players to Rice, SMS, and Kansas State. Now we're beating the big conferences. Things are looking up.

It is a BIG, BIG difference!!! This staff is amazing!!! I don't know if Mclean is a star or not but I know Pitt offered him a scholarship, pursued him vigorously, and were unhappy Tulsa got him!!! This isn't like the guy was from Tulsa and chose Tulsa over Pitt or he had some other connection to Tulsa. Now I would be surprised if we didn't get Randle. I believe he and Mclean were here for a visit at the same time!! Congrat to the staff!!!

Well, about one week til the fall signing period. It will be good to get Mclean signed and I wonder if anyone else signs on signing day. It seems like all the other recruits are in the 6'7", 6'8" range, which is fine with me as long as they are inside bangers. If no one else signs, will we wait on a Juco?? If so, what would we go after, a top center and give Mitchell two more years to develop, presuming he redshirts this year?? A 40+% outside shooter?? Would a Juco mess up the size of classes graduating?? I don't think this staff will take someone just to fill out the roster.
