Well, should be pretty easy, there's a March Madness Live app this year. Hopefully it allows Airplay to make it really easy.

App is only for 4th generation Apple TV. If you have 3 or lower AirPlay only way

What info do you have?

So that big deal about being able to stream live games and avoid blackouts was completely untrue? figures. I think im going to try playstation vue out. They have dropped the price almost $20. I just cant decide if the Elite is worth the extra $10 over the core

https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/#4

From what I gather there is a fox sports go app, but you still have to have a cable, DirectTV / TWC subsrciption. No ala carte.

What if you have a friend say in NY buy the MLB premium package, using a NYC zip code. How would they know where you are streaming from?

Thats why I think playstation Vue is the best option. It has fox sports ohio/AMC/ESPN/ESPNU/ESPN2/FX/FXX/Comedy Central/TRU TV/TNT/TBS and others for $35 a month. Or you can upgrade to more channels for $45

You just need an IP spoofer, I think that's what they are called.

https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/

This is the site I used. It worked great for when ESPN3 was blacking out FSO broadcast UC games earlier in the year.

It'll tell MLB Premium that you're in California or wherever and you'll be able to watch Reds games.

RE: Cutting the Cord
Ok guys. Im moving here soon and have not had cable for years. Ive just had internet, but I love my sports and sometimes the convenience of just throwing it on the TV is much better than searching for a stream

So right now listing the options.

Cincinnati Bell Fioptics bundled with MYTV is around $50 and you get the starter cable which has almost everything plus a free sports package. Add on $25 for sports package with Fox Sports ohio and ESPN. So im sitting at roughly $75 a month. Now i would have atleast 3 TVs. So is there an extra charge for that?

Next would be Direct TV. I cant really find their pricing. How much does it usually cost for atleast 30MBPS internet speeds and a cable package with fox sports ohio and CBS sports network? And then again, the extra boxes for a total of 3 TVs?

Dish. I honestly havent heard anything about Dish since Direct TV came out. Does anyone know much here?

Time Warner Cable: Meh, pass

Then We have the option of getting Fioptics internet for $40 plus playstation VUE at $45. So $85 a month and I have 2 playstations now, and could easily find a used ps3 for under $100(IDK the price of extra boxes with Direct TV/Cincinnati bell, but if its $10 a month, I will have made my money back in 10 months if I find a PS3 for $100 and go with Vue)

The good thing about VUE is the price is fixed at $45. It doesnt go up after a year, so thats good news. Bad news is it doesnt have CBS sports network, which thats where most of UC basketball is on.

This Package just for the tv and the boxes is about $39.99 for the first 12 months with $10.00 a box. You would get one Free. so $59.99 Plus tax. but it raises to $130 after the 12 months. I got the TV side just tried to lower the bill yesterday. Did not look into internet through them I have Cincinnati Bell for that.

Yea I got it down to $84 by dropping to the 2nd lowest package they have and only 2 TV's. My wife right now still wants her DVR and all the movies she has recorded. I would probably just drop them if I could. She lost a couple of channels and I lost all my sports so it was an even trade there.

Well Cincinnati Bell said it would be roughly $120 a month(because i wouldnt just want it on 1 TV, I would want it on atleast 3) So yea, the best deal is easily playstation Vue. Just going to go with that

Like Beta, I am OTA and Sling. I drop ESPN this time of year so Sling is $20 a month. For all of the ESPN channels it is $25. I bought the MLB premium package, and doing the VPN swith thing, so I can watch all Reds games, or any game. For the season it was around $100 or so. I plug my laptop into my large HD TV works great.

No contracts, no boxes, no customer service from Manila or Costa Rica.

This is what kills me. They say #1 in customer service. We could not understand the person on the other end. Had to hang up the phone and call back. Took like 3 hours to figure something out. Was a big waste of time.
