Well, not everywhere.

.65% of Louisiana housing units lack complete plumbing facilities
.94% of Kentucky housing units lack complete plumbing facilities

Kentucky's concentration is in the Appalachian area of Eastern Kentucky.

Fwiw, West Virginia leads the conference at 1.01%.

Interestingly, New York state is .83% and Mississippi is .86%.....surprising comparison.

I was joking but that is pretty interesting.

I knew you were joking... I figured the data would help to continue the running water discussion as opposed to the useless nature of the previous posts. I felt it was a good diversion. 04-cheers

RE: LA Tech vs WKU
I have noticed that TECH-WKU and TECH-ULL conversations are similar in nature. They always start out in one place and quickly devolve into the exact same conversation that was had 1,000 times before. That is either a good sign of rivalry quality competitiveness or just two loons in a padded cell arguing over the color of the wallpaper.

lol - I actually like WKU a lot based on their performance last year on all major sports.
I'm still deciding on their fans though :)

As is the case with most, if not all fanbases, including yours, there are rational posters, irrational posters, complete loons and everything in between.
There are also polite respectful posters and rude, obnoxious posters.
Unfortunately, the latter are the ones that we focus on in making judgments about the fans of a certain team.
MT fans like to speak poorly of WKU fans, and in terms of some WKU posters, their opinion is justified. La Tech fans do the same. I have no problem with that.
But, that argument goes both ways. It would be very easy to isolate on the behavior of a couple of La Tech posters..... or MT posters..... or FIU posters......, etc. and decide that all of the fans of those teams are ignorant, obnoxious buffoons but I would obviously be wrong.
Something else to consider is the manner in which I post will impact how people respond to my posts. Some posters write inflammatory stuff about a particular team and then go all holier-than-thou when the fans of that team react harshly. The hypocrisy of such behavior is astounding.
This sermon is available on DVD for the low price of $1.95 plus S&H.

I'll cut WKU some slack because of their mascot; it takes balls to take a used McDonalds costume, paint it red, and trot it out to the World.

All I see is a lot of bitching by Tech fans....

not just in this topic but every freaking topic on this board. ALL OF THEM. Not all of the Tech poster but most

As for last years score...it's just that. LAST YEAR and it has no bearing on this upcoming game...ZERO

Not one Western fan hasn't said Tech beat Westerns ass that day...Tech played a great game, Western didn't and Tech won. But it has zero to do with this year. Tech doesn't have the same players or even part of the same defensive staff.

Let me guess...

score board! come on that's grade school stuff

Actually we will have lots of the same players and the bitching goes both ways if you read all the posts. Good luck against Vandy

Well that's not true. You guys beat us in a tight one last year. Tip of the hat. La Tech beat us fair and square. Every team has off games. But sometime extenuating circumstances do occur. Like say the death of a team mate that was an offensive lineman the night before the game. And our line was Swiss cheese the next day. Now don't get my wrong La Tech took full advantage of it and did what they were supposed to do. But let's not act like the death of a team mate the night before you play a game doesn't have an impact on players mentally.

I think that is why some WKU fans get upset about Tech constantly bringing up the ass whooping. Because it was a down time for Hilltoppernation losing one of their own.
.
Yes, we did get beat pretty bad, worst loss all season and it is not even close. I don't recall any Topper fan saying anything about Tech being "lucky".
The death of this young man definitely took it's toll on a lot of the players and I have no doubt Brandon was one. The Bulldogs did have a terrific game plan and played exceptionally well but I feel that a more lucid Doughty would've made the game much closer but it is too late now.
Now as far as beating Marshall in Huntington, that was huge for the program and we should talk about that win a lot.

Yes we point to that win because it was so important for the program but I've yet to see...

scoreboard!

Like I said maybe a Western fan did that but I haven't seen it. Hey if we win them all no one can say...

SCOREBOARD! it's just something I don't get or see any use for. Of course fans are going to bring up beating your ass and I get that.

SCOREBOARD!

And it does not say a whole lot for the West when this "AA" team and conference mate beat not only the 2014 West champion but also the 2013 West and Conference champion. And by the way, with a 6-6 record in its first year of play in C-USA, the Monarchs were also bowl eligible. Get a grip!

Look. You started this, and if you want to. we can keep it going. But get something straight. This is 2015, and ODU is a full member of C-USA, as they were in 2014. The facts are, LA Tech came into Ballard Stadium for a conference game expecting to blow out the Monarchs and cinch the West title. Instead, the Bulldongs (not a typo) went home with a loss. Get over it -- and get used to it.
