34-31 Liberty, but this game really scares me.

I'm not picking a score, but I'll say Liberty wins as convincingly as they did against Del State.

RE: S. Illinois Game
DS of N&A states SIU 2.5 points favored over Flames, down from 4.5 points on Tuesday. That should keep the chip on the shoulder edge. LU still seeking respect. Hope coaches make it bulletin board material.

I'm not sure what the score will be. When I think of this game I have flashbacks to the Indiana game last year and that makes me stop thinking about this game.

The weird thing is we are a Top 10 team. They are 0-2. They are still favored. How does that happen?

Easy to agree with 1 and 2. It you had added an "in the past", I could still agree to #3. #3 as is, is just too defeatist for me.

Plus they had over 650 yards of total offense against fbs Indiana. This is going to be a tough one to win.

It will be a quality, road victory is the Flames can pull off the "upset".

RE: S. Illinois Game
It's 15 minutes before kick off and it has been announced that Peterson is out with an injury. Will the Flames falter with their leading WR out? Will someone else fill the huge void with Petey? I'm betting that others are going to make up for the loss and that one Flames is going to have huge game with receptions. This is what good teams do. LU is a good team and someone will steu up. This is a major test for LU. A win with one of the top FCS WR's out would be a huge win. We'll know around 10pm.

Ugly game. Offense is flat. Ol never got off the plane it appears. I was nervous all week about this game.

I would rather have a kicker that has a higher %, than a kicker that can make a 57 yarder.

RE: S. Illinois Game
Very disappointing loss. One would have thought that the Indiana loss last year would have had a greater impact on this game. It did not. As good as Woodrum has been in his career this was one of his lesser games. The failure to establish any sort of a running game put Woodrum in 2nd and 3rd and longs. SIU had come into the game with 9 turnovers. It was LU with turnovers by Woodrum, especially the one within the 10 yard line, that put LU behind. With 3 more, straight away games, time to regroup for GaSt next Saturday. LU layed an egg today.

RE: S. Illinois Game
Probably the worse game in the Gill era. Offense was anemic, play calling was just horrible, no push from the ol, db's never look back for the ball. A frustrating night. This SIU team is a good team. You don't get 650 yards of offense on a fbs team(Indiana) and not have a good offense. With that said, we need to regroup and get ready for GA State.
