Scheduling
How can we get more games like this past Saturday? Looking at the schedule for the next two years isn't exciting at all. I think the biggest name coming to town is Indiana St. and Jacksonville. I assume we'll make a return visit to Jacksonville? I don't suppose we'd be able to play two marquee games a year. That way we'd have one on the road and one at home, assuming we get home/home contracts, allowing us to have at least one quality opponent at home each year. It would be nice if we had those kind of teams in the BSC. But after CCU leaves, Chuck So. will be the only competitive team left.

RE: Scheduling
I agree Mike. Our home schedule stinks. One thing to keep in mind is scheduled are typically put together years in advance, so it's hard to change the schedule quickly.

RE: Scheduling
I'd like to get home and homes with Texas and Florida schools, and then fill in with a rotation of other schools mixed between traditional power FCS schools and schools that get us to travel the country with an emphasis on big states.

RE: Scheduling
I'd want to get some home/home with some good national and regional teams like, JMU, Richmond, Norfolk St., Will & Mary, Villanova, Chattanooga, EKU, E. Washington, NDSU, Montana, etc.

I'd also like Liberty to start playing more of a national schedule, since they want to be viewed as a national university. I'd like us to start going to California, Texas, Florida and across the southeast (for recruiting purposes).

But it's easier said than done. Scheduling is a difficult business.

RE: Scheduling
I suppose if we could make a stronger run in the playoffs and make the semi finals, resulting in a stronger national perception, many other teams would want us to come and visit them, then we could get some quality home/home series.
