Today's the day. Today's the day Tommy Tuberville whoops Miami, gets Golden fired, and immediately accepts the now open Miami job

It looked like Miami was going to choke, but now they look much better.

They listed multiple UC starters on offense that are out for this game with injury.

Cincinnati is always tough. If Miami took them for granted it was a mistake.

Doesn't UC play big games against big time opponents at Paul Brown and not Nippert? Miami...

I figured out how the ACC can make Wilkie happy:

Simply trade Miami for Cincinnati, get into Ohio and get a program that cares about FB.

Trade wake for UC and it's a deal. Or wake for temple, or uconn, or some fresh baked everything bagels.

I feel the need ... the need for-- Reruns!

I was afraid of this. There is simply no sense in these type of games. This is exactly what happened w/ the Big East & Mtn. West. The Big East could not get separation from the MWC and it ended up killing the conference, decimating the MWC, annihilating the WAC, and causing massive upheaval in the Cusa & Sunbelt.

How does that happen? Because by being an 'In' conference, if the 'Out conference is that 'close' to the In conference, then that raises the threat that the out will need to be allowed in. At that point the Powers will cut them both loose...

Disaster. STOP take these games against the oh-so-closely-named A-A-C...

RE: Open Thread - Week 5
The ACC games Saturday are going to be a disaster. The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg is calling this a 1 in a 1,000 year flood, and their actual forecast calls this a "historic life-threatening rain event". We're looking at beyond 1.5 feet of rain along I-26.

Nikki Haley has activated the SC National Guard and declared a state of emergency. Chunks of downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant are already flooded and shut down.

'Canes really messed up by giving up that 52-yard pass and subsequent TD.
4 points is one thing, but down by 11 this late in the game is huge.

I do not disagree with your point. UofL has to try and schedules AAC teams for seven years after our departure per the agreement to exit. No other ACC team should schedule them. If you look at next years ACC ooc schedule I think you will see we will thrive. This may be a parting "thank you" to the former BE. Enjoy!

The game is the end of the Golden era.

My #goacc pick em strategy is further vindicated.
