And there's no indication that GB's or Australia's gun laws work. Yes, they have low rates of gun crime and deaths. But they had low rates of those things before they had those gun laws. So it's not the gun laws that are responsible.

A precedes B does not necessarily mean that A caused B. But B precedes A pretty much guarantees that A did not cause B.
