I've always liked our design and thought it was very clever. The recent graduate in cap and gown with arms stretched outward to greet the world, a leader in front of his peers.

I think this discussion turning into a "Whose logo is worse" conversation is a good indicator of just how bad our teams are this year. I'm proud of my terrible 49ers though!

I'd agree, and I also think that we and ODU are a pair that will likely stick together through the years regardless of what may or may not happen in the CFB landscape. We're very similar institutions - young, rapidly growing, urban - and as such would do well to develop a lasting rivalry on the field and a strong working relationship off of it.

Thee weeks ago I would have jumped on this. Now -- eh -- think I will wait until after the game. I do believe the team will be up for this game next week and that the Monarchs will win, but will just have to wait and see how it plays out. This I do know. If we want to see six wins this year, this is a must win.
