It's been reported plenty of places but it is still unofficial. Looks like Chris Ash to be RU next HC. Rutgers BOG will confirm Monday and then he'll be announced. Also have seen a few reports that he is planning on staying with OSU through it bowl game.

Ash to Rutgers

Ash is set to be formally introduced at a 1:30 p.m. press conference at the Hale Center in Piscataway.

Rutgers signed Ash to a 5-year contract beginning at $2 million annually. The deal includes bonuses based upon achievement of annual performance and academic incentives established by the university.

RE: B1G Coaching searches
Don't worry, this thread will end soon(ish). All the head coaches have now been hired. I don't know how much of the staff at Illinois or Minny will change. Rutgers new HC Chris Ash will have to make lots of new hire. Maryland's DJ Durkin has already started the process…and it seems like a really impressive list. So far it's all defensive guys who can all recruit.

First hire was Aazaar Abdul-Rahim. Hired away from Alabama. He was a HC in a DC high school and is huge in the recruiting scene. Next was Scott Schafter (former Syracuse HC) hired as the DC. Most recently was Mike London (former HC of UVA) who has lots of recruiting ties to the Virgina Tide Water area. Last, while Mike Locksley is still on staff it has been rumored that he is gone because he wasn't given the HC job for the Terps. Last night a tweet went out from DJ Dirkin. It was a picture of Durkin, Locksley and a recruit. Does it mean he's staying? No way to tell yet but things are certainly interesting. From this list, it looks like MD is going to have quite the defensive staff and is going to recruits like hell. The DMVtoUMD aka "the movement" may just happen after all.

Man, it looks like Durkin is making some smart moves early, which is no surprise. It will be interesting to see how Ash counters.
