RE: OT: TJ statue on campus
I would expect the W&M community to largely be pro Obama, pro legal marijuana, pro gay marriage, pro abortion on demand and so on...it is after all college in today's world. I don't expect us to be Liberty or Hillsdale College. However, I did not expect us to be anti TJ. Maybe more students would attend Tribe games if they weren't too busy planning the next revolution :) On to more important things...Go Tribe...beat Towson!

So because a student or two made a mild protest involving the TJ statue the "WM community" is now "anti-TJ"? Come on folks. The posters trying their hardest to stir up trouble here are every bit as ridiculous as this incident involving the statute.

Yeah, I'd argue that probably most students don't feel particularly strongly about whatever point is trying to be made. When there's a rally in between Tercentenary Hall and Washington, fuss can be made.

Melissa Click graduated in 1993 with degrees in retail marketing and women’s studies from James Madison University.
On the news this AM, Ms. Click resigned (or was asked to).
What exactly is the curriculum for "womens studies"?

Those clowns at Missouri have been hoisted upon their petards. This is what happens. Today's WSJ lead editorial predicts more of same. Let's hope not in the burg.
I read the Flat Hat. It's pretty tame. Not to worry. Beat Towson.

Nah, she's from George Mason - common mistake.

All of this micro aggression, safe places, hub bub is a marker for the future of many of these college kids. For the 50% or so who do graduate within 6 years, their assimilation into the real world will be difficult. One word comes to mind; crybully
