http://sportsfan.decro.net/accproj <-- the easy-peazy interactive page that will let you pick outcomes and see how the Coastal Division could shape up.

Right now, North Carolina, Miami, Pitt and Duke are alive to win the Coastal Division. North Carolina and Miami control their fates by winning out.

Conceivably, either VT or UVA could find itself in a 5-way tie, while not winning the division (but alot of collapsing would have to take place)

copycat has given this page/widget 2 thumbs-up. Enjoy!

I hope you're gonna share some of that.

Send some my way as well. If I had to use one word to describe Brewer tonight, it is: unimpressive.

Considering the Hokies are 2-3 in games in which Brewer plays, I'll have to pass on the 10 win season projection. This Virginia Tech team is simply not that good.

Coming in late in the Miami loss isn't on him. The ACC is simply not good this year and a couple plays could have changed the games easily.

This is why a change needed to be made. VT couldn't win a lot of the winnable games anymore. It's not like they are getting destroyed every week. That extra gear doesn't exist right now.

I apologize, samandrea -- let me amend that statement:

Miami wins the Coastal by winning out, and Carolina losing either to NC State or VT.

Any tie that includes Miami will (virtually) result in Miami winning the Coastal.

...and yet who was the first of those 5 W's this year? 05-stirthepot

maybe there is a lot of bad teams... or maybe the Coastal isn't as bad as you claim? IIRC, UL hasn't played a Coastal team yet, but they are about to play both UVa and Pitt back-to-back. Time to put up or shut up (just 1-1 last year against the Coastal)!

I usually root against BYU because of LDS reasons.

But for today ..... I hope BYU curb stomps Mizzou.

I usually root for BYU since it is a football independent.

So, yes, I hope they crush Missouri (but only because its an SEC team, not the political stuff).

1) The behavior of the football team politically
2) The subject matter over which the football team is politically engaged in
3) The behavior of Mizzou faculty and staff in that political matter
4) BONUS: Mizzou is in the SEC

I want Mizzou to be crying for a safe space at half time.

Not surprising statistically speaking if you went to UNC-CH.

That's not why I liked TerryD's answer better. TerryD stayed out of the political crap and took a more sports centric answer. You did not.
