You're right I didn't catch it but surely a qb rating would have fit in one of the many many many topics started by bragging S. Miss fans.
My god a awful lot of bragging for a 7 win team that will most likely end the season without a win over a school with a winning record. Hell most likely not a win over a school ranked above 90
As for your nick name do you really think I care? I'm sure I've been called worse...probably today.
But at the end of the day I only laugh at you because most of you are just like the wal mart fans you say your state school has. That's right...most of you are right here on this forum right before or right after a game...
So if most of you aren't out supporting your school with your hard earn dollars...you're not much of a fan. With that why would anyone care about what you say? Your little petty name isn't going to affect me in any way. It's not going to stop me from posting exactly the way I did today. It's not going to stop me from actually getting off the couch and supporting my team. It's not going to piss me off. I wont think one second about it when I close this board down.
Really some of you really do need a "safe place"
A month ago most of these S. Miss fans couldn't be found...yeah, real fans! I mean come on look at the game thread vs Rice....
a freaking down and back game ...5.5 hours is a down and back game that cost $65 for gas and $30 for a ticket...REAL FANS! sitting behind your keyboard on game day. You can bet those Wal Mart fans at Miss would have made that drive...
hell S. Miss = Dollar Store fans
Um...you are aware that you can post to these forums from right inside the stadium on your phone? And you are also, I'm sure, aware that some folks live way out of town and cannot get to every game if they want to keep making that hard-earned cash to donate to the university?
I mean that's why they have such a thing as homecoming. So people can circle a date to come home to a game every year at least once.
I am lucky that I live 10 minutes or so from our stadium and I easily attend
every home game. But others' circumstances are not like mine. Most folks who are alumni and don't live close still donate to the university even if they don't buy season tickets. Many of those donations equate to much more than the cost of tickets. So while buying tickets to support your school is admirable, it is really a drop in the bucket compared to some donors who may never ever even attend a game. Yeah, I'm calling you out as the buy cheap season tickets guy and be god's gift to the university, since that is your mark as to what constitutes a fan.
Now you once asked me to prove I was at a game, I didn't realize i had these laying around and I only have 4 of the 6 games I went to that I found. But you aren't the only one who goes to games that is a forum fan. And I expect some proof you attend in return. Because if you don't you will be laughed off this board.
The end all, be all, of being a fan is NOT attending football games. There are other sports and there are those that want their team to win but have no interest in attending but still donate money to the school. So knock off that bull****. And this is coming from a fan who does attend football games religiously.
