Rice beats UC Riverside 87-81. Maybe the freshmen are getting used to the college level. Still need to get our 2 injured guys healthy to get to a 10 man rotation.

Turnovers. Bad shooting. No flow offensively or defensively.

UAB loses 72-58 to Illinois in the ECC. Shot 5-23 (21.7%) from the 3 and had 16 turnovers. Illinois had allowed 11+ three pointers in 4 of 5 games prior to this and 9 in the 5th before this game.

You can literally see the improvement of this team in every game. Destroyed by USF 2 weeks ago, now we manhandle the team that only lost to USF by 1 pt.

ODU loses third straight ooc game

Don't know what occ is supposed to stand for, but yes ... ODU has lost 3 straight since the injury to our starting C/PF (Stith). Not positive that they would have won any of the 3 games had he been able to play, but it probably would have helped. I'm guessing that it will be around the beginning of the conference season before he returns to action based upon the initial reports.

Raiders win the Great Alaska Shootout Championship this morning. Beat Toledo who was favored, 78-70.

Just a great effort.
