Jalen Richard- 177 att 1070 yards 6.2 avg 64 (TD) Long run 13 Total TDs
Ito Smith- 130 att 983 yards 7.5 avg 75 (TD) Long run 7 Total TDs

Anthony Wales- 129 att 933 yards 7.2 avg 47 (TD) Long Run 7 Total TDs
D'Andre Ferby- 130 att 547 yards 4.2 avg 35 Long Run 9 Total TDs

Also, not noted is the receiving yards by these backs. But here is some quicky stats.

Wales for WKU has 17 catches for 123 yards and 2 TDs
Ferby for WKU has 9 catches for 33 yards and 0 TDs
Richard for USM has 27 catches for 270 yards and 3 TDs
Ito for USM has 41 catches for 466 yards and 3 TDs

So who has better RBs, according to stats???

Unless you want to put those in a format that is readable I'm not going to unsort that mess.

But again that has zero to do with what was said and what I commented on. S. Miss just held the best running back in the conference to..

Totally different argument.

Ok well you look it up yourself and make the determination. Warning, you're not going to like what you find.

Plus, I wasn't replying to any argument or replying to any statement. I was making my own statement. Southern Miss has the better RBs. Period.

Who has the better RB is subjective. Who has the better team is even somewhat subjective.

What won't be subjective will be the score next Saturday.

The best is going to be figured out in less than 7 days...

But not any of Wales numbers is against basically three FCS programs in Peay and UNCC, TXST.

So let me make sure I'm correct you no longer want to see which Running Back is the best in conference? Now you want to add in ALL numbers ...even numbers vs a FCS, a team that didn't have a program 4 years ago and a team tha was FCS 4 years ago? So basically what S. Miss rbs did against 3 FCS programs

vs
Wales

Marshall
MUTS
LSU
ODU
FAU
FIU
UNT

No wonder you want to change the whole argument 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

I wouldn't either. I will say that Mullens will try to throw the ball before getting sacked so that could lead to some easy turnovers.

well, that's usually easier and always more successful than throwing the ball after getting sacked.

Now, I enjoyed that....

I'm not going to predict a score. I have a lot of Respect for WKU, they are having one heck of a year. I'm just hoping we (USM) play our best because that's what it's gonna take to come out of this game with a win .

So, with the regular season ending, who all do we have bowl eligible ?

WKU
USM
Marshall
La Tech
Midd Tenn State

Am I missing anyone ??

As stated in another thread, hotel rooms will be at a premium. The state high school championship games will take place around the CUSA game for 2 or 3 days. They may already be booked up. If it were me, I would stay in Nashville and make the hour drive that morning...

No, I'm just using complete regular season stats. I wasn't in your pissing match with the others taking about Dixon and the best back in the league. Why is that so hard for you to understand?? Stats are supposed to be completely objective.

You of course find a way to make them 100% subjective by only counting the games that make your point look better. But whatever.

hmmm. you think you can put 55 points up against our defense?

Yes I absolutely do. We have done it against almost everybody, those we haven't done it against is because we stopped scoring due to the beating.

i'm not going to argue past numbers.

what i will argue is that southern miss will not hold ace wells to what they held dixon to today. mark that down.

that's not being cocky. and i very much respect usm. i watched them dismantle la tech today. first time i've seen them.

what were dixon's total numbers today? i know they were poor but that's as much on the la tech o-line as it was on dixon.

holding a guy to -5 yards is sort of an impossible goal

No disrespect taken. That post wasn't about your post, just a little pot shot on a line of prior posts! The attendance looked very low when I saw a few of the wider shots though.

that's great defense. but i feel comfortable our o-line will put up better numbers than than that. let's not get retarded like so many people do and say i'm predicting 200 yards out of ace. i'm just saying we will be able to run the ball more successfully than la tech did today. and i don't mean we'll have -4 and -1.
