That was an affront to common decency. I'd still fire him. Also, FSU you just punched your ticket to join UVA and WF in the Hall of Gregory Shame.

RE: Open Thread - Men's Hoops
Louisville cruised over the Cuse...bad matchup for Cuse as UL made our Freshmen look like Freshmen with their tough defense. One team played above the rim and the other team not so much. Cuse was up 12 points midway through the 1st and managed to fritter that away by halftime and the romp happened in the 2nd half. Final UL 72-58 and it wasn't that close

BTW, Onuaku looked ready for the NBA last night.

Does that knock FSU off the bubble (and not in a good way)?

Weak bubble this year...they are still in play but they probably need to win 2 games in the regular season and at least 1 or 2 in DC...really bad loss last night for them.

The 2nd half was one of the best halves for Louisville all season. That was the first piece of basketball news the team and city could smile about in weeks.

Syracuse could be primed to upset a top seed in the NCAA if they get the right match-up and they are hitting from deep. Get the wrong match-up (team with powerful inside game) and it could be curtains in Round 1. Either way, you at least can look forward to the NCAA!

I have to say, it's amazing how much a ban (voluntary or otherwise) for your school zaps your interest.

Clemson's not getting much love, considering that they could easily finish 12-6 in the ACC. Other than Virginia, their remaining league games are BC (twice), NC State and Ga Tech. Pitt, on the other hand, still has Syracuse, Duke and Louisville. Lose those and they finish 8-10.

I believe if the Tigers hold their form, even though there aren't any signature wins likely ahead of them, I think they will move off the bubble and sneak into the dance.

FSU, though, has dug themselves a deep hole.

Looks like Pitt really needed that win over Wake. Would've been a terrible loss for them. Fortunately for them, Codi Miller-McIntyre likes to give out gifts to the opposing team.

so glad to have UofL (and Syracuse, Notre Dame, etc) in the ACC to see the spoiled Duke team face some good competition and not get their way all the time.

Pitt got a needed win over Syracuse. Should keep them on the right side of the bubble for now.

Nice win for the Pack today, with Barber having an off night shooting.

Clemson and FSU look like they want to host NIT games next month. Tough losing to NC State and Virginia Tech when you're on the bubble.

Yeah. The ACC didn't do itself any favors today.

Before our good friends at Duke get their panties in a wad:

https://vine.co/v/irbQpVmlJme

Allen elbowed Jaylen in the head first and Jaylen was grabbing after the ball.

Then Allen was shot by the mysterious Duke sniper; watch his head snap back.

Typical.

Notre Dame, your ticket is now punched to the Brian Gregory Hall of Shame.

Hey look -- Gregory won a game on a last second comeback. Proving that a blind squirrel can find the occasional nut.

Notre Dame was also the last school that ever lost to a Jeff Bzdelik coached team

Don't look now, but with that win, GT put themselves in a position to overtake FSU for a first round bye in the ACCT. Tech holds the tiebreaker with their win the other night.
