This is suppose to be a Top 10 team? This is possibly the best the ACC has to offer?

You can't expect me to possibly believe you're a good team if Brian Gregory is handing you your *** in your own gym.

This is our 3rd game in six days and we're missing Kennedy Meeks. 2nd half is ours.

Note to self: bet against UNC come March. They are grasping at straws to not lose to a lame duck at home.

RE: Open Thread - Men's Hoops
You do realize that Kentucky went to the Final Four last year at 38-0. Before they got there they had to beat a couple of lame duck teams in overtime. It's conference play. These things happen.

On the road ... yes. But at home? And it isn't like GT will be competing for a postseason this year. They'll be competing with VT to be worst in the conference. That should have been your easiest home conference game all year.

One of those games I mentioned about Kentucky was at home.

GT will not be anywhere close to VT in conference this year.

I actually think BC has already clinched that honor.

Great win for #13 Miami over the Syracuse Orange by a score of 64-51... Great crowd today at the BUC. Good start for conference play. McClellan and Newton played tremendously for us in the win - it was 20-9 'Cuse at one point - very pleased with the come-back effort... Looks like a stellar year ahead. Cuse has a good team, but not tops in ACC it appears.

VT beat State. I'm not opposed to that.

RE: Open Thread - Men's Hoops
UNC surprisingly struggled with Georgia Tech at home but I don't have much concern with that.

Syracuse led Miami by 8 at the half but the Canes dominated the 2nd half by 19.

NC State led Virginia Tech by 10 at the half but lost in OT. At the moment the Orange and Wolfpack look like NIT teams.

We struggled with GT because it was our 3rd game in 6 days and no Kennedy Meeks. GT isn't a bad team as they'll probably end up in the NIT with State and Cuse.

State fans are going to be quick to put Gott on the hot seat with Archie Miller seeming to be available.

Gott just got a contract extension so he'll be around for a while.

That would not be a smart use of your resources.

I'd say Miami is tops alongside UNC in the ACC at the moment. Good news for the Canes is we are hosting Duke this year.

Aren't you overlooking UVa who happens to be ranked higher than both right now? And some better news for UVa is they host both UNC and Miami at home this year. (By the way UVa dominated Notre Dame today).
