UCONN and Cincinnati
I would be happy with an ACC division that consisted of Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse, ND, Cincinnati, WV, VT & Miami.

Well I would welcome them, but I don't want them.

Now if you could just fit in FSU.

"Force" how, exactly?

I would love to "force" every conference school to play football as an independent, but I learned from the story of King Canute. There are limitations to everything.

By what mechanism can the ACC legally "force" ND to join a "voluntary association" in football?

Easy. Grow a set of balls and give you a choice between joining in full or taking your worthless sports to the Big East and leeching bowl bids off the AAC or CUSA.

Well, I was going to sneak on campus and paint "ACC" on the football field, and then I was going to paint "ACC4EVA" on the outside of the stadium.

But if I have to use legal means, I'll simply threaten to buy a local TV station and play nothing but "Jim Delaney's greatest hits" 24. Hours. A. Day! Think about that - all day, every day. And, assuming I can't afford a TV station in South Bend, I'll simply see what the public access situation is there....

We could petition the Vatican to have it included as the 11th commandment.

"Thou shall play football in the ACC"

Except they wouldn't go to the AAC or Big East. The Big 12 would take them in a heartbeat and then they'd get the $3 million per team bump and the ACC would be back down to making $17 million per team again.

Thats all I want. Rivalries. I miss them so much. I'm sure WVU misses having rivals too. Isn't that what is fun about CFB? Rivalries? The NFL doesn't quite do rivalries like College does.

An ACC with UC and WVU, IMO gives probably the highest volume of rivalries per season (based on super accurate calculations of # of rivalries in conferences that I did in my head really quickly). That'd be such a fun conference week in and week out.

I'm not here to debate the probability or plausibility of this, but when you think about the games being played, it'd be hard to beat the entertainment value of a conference like that. Oh well...

Why don't you guys schedule out of conference games? I mean Clemson does it all the time with rivals like Georgia.
