Elmore wasn't eligible as mentioned for, per conference by-laws, not participating in 75% of Marshall's games due to eligibility. And he can thank the bastards at VMI for not giving him a release.

It comes down to numbers. I wouldn't bump any of the forwards on that list for Johnson nor would I bump any of the guards for Elmore. List seems right. If Giddy hadn't missed 4 conference games he may have squeaked into the second team but I have no issues with him being third.

Never said that...Marshall plays at the 2nd fastest pace in the country...ODU the third slowest. You can't compare players strictly taken on a PPG average and be taken seriously these days.

Elmore is a good player, so is Stith and arguments can be made for both but I don't see who you would remove.

So who are you kicking off to make room? Like the other guy said your pace leads to more opportunities to pad stats. He had the worst fg% of anybody on your team that played more than 10 minutes a game. He didn't get boards and wasn't a great defender. I wouldn't take him over anybody on that list. Not to mention his crying in the two games I saw would make me not vote for him if I were a coach or an SID. Not a bad player but not better than anybody on that list.

WKU has some great players, unfortunately our team has gelled to late for any of our players to be truly considered. Might just be the added incentive our guys need going into the tourney...if I was our coach , I would post that on every locker

Who do you bump for the 6th leading scorer and leading assist man in the league? Everybody else? I still say it has to be an eligibility thing. If not by rule, then by mixup.

I was hoping Uchebo might push up to first team due to his impressive ability to score down low with no post help and getting the conference play rebounding record. Obviously they didn't worry about filling out a normal 5 (with a normal amount of post players), or he probably makes it. Not sure who I'd bump though, all of the first 5 seemed deserving. Possibly Evans for Rice given they had even less success than Charlotte and less competition for scoring, but I suppose you can make the same argument for Uchebo in terms of rebounding given the lack of post players for Charlotte.

There might have been a time when the, "we have football and you don't B.S." might have gotten me riled up, however I just spent last saturday at our spring practice event hanging out with Bill Clark, Roddy White, and Joe Webb. We have football. It's coming back in 2017.
