Was it Bronn who saved Jamie from the dragon fire or Dickon?

Bronn did.
Rickon, errr Dickon was wearing armor.
The guy that saves Jamie is wearing leather.

Thanks I wonder if Dick On and his Dad survived the battle?

I think they did. At least there is no evidence that they died. They could be the ones Dany is telling to "bend the knee, or die" in the preview of next week's episode. Hard to believe that there are only 3 more episodes this season.

If you ever wonder how people in the Bible felt when seeing stuff for the first time, this was it.

I wonder what percentage of Lannister and Tarly soldiers sh!t their pants before they died? Probably 40-50% right? I mean, I know I would have.

I started watching season 1 and Robert Baratheon talked about that during battle.

Yep. Robert said "some Tarly boy tried to end the rebellion right then and there by taking him out and cried wait wait" before Robert brought his war hammer down on him. He asked Ser Barrathan Selmy why the "singers never mention that you **** yourself when you die" I loved Robert. Those were the days.

Where did the last battle take place? I know they were leaving the Reach and hurrying back to Kings Landing with the Gold but the lake threw me off. There's the lake by Harrenhal and God's Eye but that's way too far north. I'm confused

The battle was at the Blackwater Rush, the river that goes from the Westerlands all the way across to the Blackwater Bay (where Stannis the Man-is and his navy got roasted by Tyrion and Bronn). My guess is that they followed the river rather than taking the Rose Road to avoid potential ambushes by the various outlaw groups that live in the woods in that region. Not a bad idea, because going off-roading puts you in an area where you have wide, clear lines of sight and open fields. In fact the only thing that could possibly go wrong is if you were attacked by a marauding group of horse riders. Oh wait...

Haha...so did the wagon full of gold to pay the iron Bank get torched? The Iron Bank will have its due no matter who sits the Iron throne. Westeros is in huge debt to them. Jaquen Hagar may have to return if that debt is not paid.....I'm hoping he does. In the books it's noted that the Iron Bank has hired the faceless men to deal with those who didn't pay back debts.....

When Randyl Tarly rode up at the beginning of the scene, he confirmed with Jaime that the last of the gold had made it through the gates of Kings Landing. Cersei's scene with the Iron Bank representative shows that she's not going to leave the Crown debt-free, however; I seem to remember her mentioning the hiring of the Golden Company mercenary group to assist with pacifying Westeros. Who better to fight a marauding horde of Dothraki than arguably the greatest company of sellswords in Essos, right?

This would be a convenient opportunity for Dany to hire/sweet talk Daario & the Second Sons to assist in her war of conquest. Quick and easy way for the show to kill off Daario and wrap up another loose end from the Slaver's Bay saga

I watched it again and Tarley does not say the gold has made it to kings landing yet. Jamie gives Bronn a bag from the gold wagon at that same time. Later, Cersei talks about hiring the golden company and other things and the banker says, "When the gold arrives." I see no proof from episode 4 anywhere that the gold has made it through the gates of KL. I agree with you that Dario and 2nd Sons will join. Also, will the unsullied free Edmure Tully from the Lannister dungeons in casterly rock?

BB, watch the first 30 seconds of this video. As Randall rides up, he says, "All the gold's safely made it through the gates at King's Landing" and Jaime replies, "Good" and vigorously nods his head.

I would assume the head since it would be nearest the gate to King's Landing, but I am not 100% sure. Also, Tarly or Jamie mentioned that the tail would not be able to reach the head in time to help if there was an attack, but that was not as clear to me.

I think his expedition beyond the Wall will go better than his expedition trying to escape the friend zone. Some thoughts after Episode 5:
1. I'm really mad at Sam after last night's episode. I hope baby Sam still has that book and didn't tear that annulment page out. That's two seasons in a row Sam has left me scratching my head and asking, "WTF, mate?"
2. The sexual tension between Dany and Jon is simply too much. Like I get it, he's cute and mysterious and your kids love him, but, Dany, you are a single mother in a tough world and you gotta focus on you and your goals right now #realtalk.
3. BEND THE DAMN KNEE, TARLY!!!! Seriously, I'm going to miss the "Rickon?" "Dickon" jokes. So is Sam still part of the Night's Watch, or will he take over as Lord Tarly now? I mean, he has a girlfriend and is raising her incest baby, which isn't really a Night's Watch thing.
4. So happy for Jamie and Cersei. Hopefully they are better parents to this one. Anyone know where they are registered? What are the odds Euron pushes Cersei down the stairs when he finds out?
5. Sh!t is going to hit the fan in Winterfell. I hope it also ends with Littlefinger hitting the ground, but Arya is getting extremely cocky and sure of herself. It won't be long until Littlefinger learns how to deal with her.
