RR Martin thought Walter White from Breaking Bad was more evil than any of his characters. (Including Joffery.) He wanted to correct that.
I didn't think Ramsey was going to be the most evil, I figured it was going to be another new character created from scratch.

I, for one, never that thought Walter White was "evil." He certainly veered that way over the course of BB, but he did what he did to help and protect his family. Ramsey does what he does for.... what? Fun? Kicks? To get an erection? And didn't they already have that character with Joffrey, Meryn Trant, and Gregor Clegane? How many sociopaths are there in Westeros? There's only, like, half a million people on the continent!

I didn't think of Walter White as all that evil either. It wasn't until I read those comments from Martin did I go back and see what he was talking about.

There was a video somewhere (I'll see if I can find it later.. Homework) that showed Walter to be really messed up.

I guess Ramsey is going to be turning it up to 11.

I am afraid at how much worse he can get. He already turned Theon into Reek, has apparently hunted numerous girls with his dogs, fed his lover's dead body to the dogs after it appeared he was going to show an iota of sympathy/humanity, murdered his father, stepmother, and baby halfbrother, has flayed countless people including that old lady that tried to help Sansa, oh! and all the **** he put Sansa through. Last week he killed Osha. Will this week show him cutting off parts of Rickon? Seriously, give us a break. Like for real. I need a break from this person.

I mostly agree with this but I think there were key portions of the series where he went well beyond "help the family" and got lost in the power he was wielding (or seeking). What the show (and Bryan Cranston in particular) did so well was to show WW occasionally getting a glimpse of himself, going too far. Sometimes he pulled back; sometimes he didn't.

Ramsey Bolton is a completely evil psychopath; well beyond the worst of Walter White, not to mention anyone else we've seen in Westeros. Although I imagine Joffrey could have rivaled him if: 1) He'd grown old enough and/or 2) he hadn't been held in check by his family, his position and the "civility" (I use that term loosely) of King's Landing.

Admittedly, I am still not done with BB (only half way) so I can only speak for what I've seen so far. No spoilers please!

In terms of Ramsay, I agree he is the WORST! Growing up a bastard, I'm sure Roose didn't care what he did because he had another son as a legitimate heir. Once he died and Ramsay was legitimized, it was far too late. I was shocked, but happy, when Joffrey died. My reaction to Arya taking down Maryn was "You go, girl." I might cry tears of joy if/when Ramsay dies.

The whole point of breaking bad:
Was Walter "evil" the whole time, or did his circumstances turn him "evil"
Ramsey was born evil.
Cheers!

RR Martin made those comments a few years ago. (Wanting to have somebody more evil than Walter White) The latest book is still being written... meaning Ramsey was already going to be messed up.
I think that the next book (Maybe season 7 if its out in time?) will have either Ramsey going even worse.... meaning he makes it through this season... or we'll get introduced to somebody who is a hell of a lot worse than anything we've seen yet.

I really hope they more material than just 13 episodes over season 7&8.

I don't think I have ever been legitimately sad by the ending of a Thrones episode. Hopefully the information that Little Finger provided about Brynden Tully was not bullsh!t, and the Tully's are in charge in Riverrun again. This was the best episode this season in my opinion.

In the books the Blackfish surrenders river run to Jamie Lannister and the Freys. Then he vanished by swimming under the moat and is missing..I knew he'd have to come up for air at some point..

That is true. He was one of my favorite characters in the books and on the show. I really do hope he is back, but I am always wary of Littlefinger. Maybe he hooked up with the Brotherhood without Banners? Maybe they decided to bring in Lady Stoneheart after all, and they are all together? It's so weird to have hopes and dreams related to this show again. I assume this feeling will be eradicated Sunday night around 10 03-lol

Hahaha...we all know that the Hound will end up fighting for the Faith vs his brother the Mountain (Cersi). The Mountain vs the Hound will be the most epic fight in history!
Cheers!
