Who has the best shot at making a roster?
Of our three young men that signed free agent contracts who has the best chance at making an NFL roster?

Josh Woodrum - New York Giants
John Lunsford - San Francisco 49ers
Darrin Peterson - Chicago Bears

I think Petey has the best shot at making a roster.
I also am a bit surprised that Chima Uzowihe didn't sign a free agent contract.

I like Darrin Peterson best as a prospect, but I think he will have a tough time making a roster (but not the toughest). He will be my guess though.

Lunsford will be behind Phil Dawson who is typically pretty good if memory serves me. I think he has the longest odds.

Woodrum may have the easiest time making a roster. The Giants aren't stacked at quarterback and may be looking for something different than their backup Nassib offers.

That didn't take long. Giants already cut QB Woodrum.

Good luck to Woodrum and the other remaining Liberty alumni! It is hard as an undrafted rookie to make a roster. Hopefully Liberty can build the reputation and program to get more drafted in the future.

Josh has signed with the Colts. But yeah, that was quick in New York.

Oh yeah, in answer to the original premise of the thread ... John Lunsford is going to make the 49ers.
