A side note to La Tech and the JUCOs they have.......asst coach Ostrander coached at Jones JC (which is about 20 minutes north of USM) for the previous 7 years and yesterday he was able to speak to them as they prepare for the JUCO World Series which starts Saturday in Oklahoma. I say that as I wonder if/how many of those will end up at La Tech after this year. I know USM has signed 1 for sure but considering they (Jones JC) finished #2 and #6 in the nation while he was there and were around the #2 to #5 ranked team in JUCO this year, there has to be some pretty good talent on the team.
