No, it is the blind Trump supporters that are doing the mental gymnastics to try to justify voting for a mentally unstable, treasonous, bad businessman, racist fool

Absolutely in no way shape or form did he call for someone to assassinate Clinton. To suggest otherwise is fundatmentally dishonest.

I stand by my comments. There is no reason to invoke "The Second Amendment" as a way to stop a President from exercising his/her constitutional duties.

Total dog whistle... http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/09/politics/d...index.html

That is not what he was saying and you know it.

He was referencing defending your 2nd amendment rights.

You can disagree that the 2nd amendment rights are in danger if Clinton wins no problem

BUT

To suggest that one presidential candidate called for the assassination of another is fundamentally dishonest and is why people do not trust our country's media.

No, it is not fundamentally dishonest. What is dishonest is your lame justification.

Obama was going to take away your guns. No one with a brain believes these cry wolf moments anymore.

front page on CNN, CBS, msnbc, nbc, & abc right now. only NBC doesn't have it as their main story (covering the olympics because they own the rights). FNC is also now covering it. lol at the cons saying it is not a major story.

also being covered as a major story by bbc, the guardian, and every site I just checked.

edit: actually doesn't look like FNC is covering it

So...even if we follow your explanation to it's "logical" conclusion. If a properly elected president and a properly selected supreme court properly repeals the second amendment, your saying it's okay for citizens to fight back with weapons?

Now of course, that's never going to happen because the Supreme Court can't repeal the second amendment and a repeal would never pass the public vote anyway...but it's no better. It's still a dog whistle for those with guns to do something to make sure it never does happen.

Still no better. Sorry.

The 2nd Amendment only describes a "God-given" or "natural" right. There was debate about whether to include a Bill of Rights just because some might think that it was the government granting those rights.

No governments can revoke the human right of self defense....only interfere with it.

He's a buffoon. Whatever thought comes into his head just falls out of his stupid mouth. Someone needs to get him on a permanent teleprompter.

I seriously wonder at this point what it would take for people to stop supporting him (not the whacked out creepy alt-right that actually likes the **** he spews, but the ostensibly thinking people that are voting for him).

Exactly... There are more guns in this country than there are people... And yet people keep insisting (including DJT) that liberals are going to abolish the 2nd Amendment... Get real!

When Trump stands in front of a crowd and tells them that Hillary Clinton is going to abolish the 2nd Amendment, that is fundamentally dishonest.

50 GOP security experts say they won't vote for trump and story is covered on the 50 biggest media outlets.

Trump voter: "I never heard that story"

that's my personal favorite.

Not really...

Your second Amendment right is just like that to Free Speech, it is an on/off switch.

Hillary talking about "regulations" is throwing that off switch.
