OT: Comcast lied to me.....
I asked an operator at Comcast if I could just add a $9.95 sports pack to get CBS Sports Network.
They said the only way to get CBS Sports Network is if I upgraded to $120 dollar TV package. I knew they were wrong since I could add the $9.95 package by clicking yes on my menu page.
My internet is $70 dollars and my cable bill is now $12. This is what I'm getting for my money:
-Major Networks
-4 PBS Stations
-USA,TruTV, A&E, MyTV, Ion
-TVland, Disney, Cartoon Net
-Lifetime, AMC, Hallmark, Movies!
-E!, BET, CNN, Fox News
-History, Discovery, Food Network, Animal Planet
-HBO, HBO2, HBO signature, HBO family, HBO comedy, HBO zone
-Showtime, Showtime2, Showcase, ShoBeyond, Showtime Extreme
-Starz, Starz Edge, Starz in Black, Starz Kids, Starz Cinema, Starz Comedy
-Bein Sports, Horse Race TV, Outdoor Channel, Sportsman, Tennis Channel
-NFL Network, MLB Network, NHL Network, NBA Network
-ESPNU, CBS Sports, ESPN Classic, ESPN News, ESPN3
-Fox College Sports (Atlantic, Central, Pacific)
$12 dollars and everything basically but ESPN/2, FS1/2, B1G and SEC network.
As a MAC/G5 fan my package covers 90% of the G5 games without having to watch the P5 crapola networks. Plenty of coverage during the basketball season too.
Those internet TV packages don't give you the option on the movie channels or sports, IMO. Streaming is as reliable as your internet connection.
