Moats, Wells, Watford, Brown and Davis are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Anyone else?

Marlowe got on the Bills practice squad in early Dec. He signed a future/reserve contract this past Monday which means he rejoins the team in April when official offseason work starts.

Double

Thanks for noting Marlowe. I had forgotten that he signed with the Bills practice squad. I missed his signing the future contract, must have not noticed it when I scanned the transaction wire in the Post this week. Hopefully he will make the squad, had a lot of bad injury luck at Carolina.

Looking more and more like Josh Wells and his Cinderalla Jaguars may be heading to the AFC Championship game next Sunday at New England. Good for him and the Jags fans.

Arthur Moats last game in a Steelers uniform maybe? Sad, if so. But, he's had a great career there no matter what. I believe he'll be pursued by another organization if it is. And, I think he'll be a potential coaching candidate when his playing days are over.

Moats’ wife on twitter isn’t sounding too optimistic that he’ll be re-signed by Pittsburgh.

Moats was a guest host on a CBS Sportsnet NFL pregame show a few weeks ago. If he is done playing, he may go the TV route.

He was on one of the CBS morning shows (I think it was on the secondary CBS Sports channel) last week during the bye, and he did a very good job. If he does not go to coaching, I can definitely see him being a commentator.

Non-JMU related, but what an incredible ending in the Saints-Vikes game. WOW!

I see moats as way more likely to do tv than coaching just based on personality.

Watford was in Frisco. I saw him Friday night at the Concrete Cowboy. A bunch of football alums were there.

He was in Frisco in 2017 too I think. I love seeing many football alums all making sure they show up to Frisco.

No Dukes invited to the NFL Combine... http://www.nflcombine.net/players/official-invite-list/

No Ankrah. No Stinnie.

(Jax State has at least 3 I saw)

Well that certainly bites. You can not tell me Ankrah and Stinnie at the least do not belong there. What a joke.

Did note that Kyle Lauletta was invited. Also noted that our old pal Jeremiah Briscoe from Soft Houston did not make the list.

Overall not a lot of FCS players invited in total. Kinda strange.

I counted 18 (might have missed 1 or 2). Listed at the top those that faced JMU:
DEMBY, JAMIL MAINE 1 OL11
NICHOLS, BILAL DELAWARE 7 DL12
LAULETTA, KYLE RICHMOND 5 QB11
JOHNSON, TARON WEBER ST 10 DB20
GOEDERT, DALLAS SOUTH DAKOTA ST 6 TE08
WIENEKE, JAKE SOUTH DAKOTA ST 5 WO42
DELUCA, NICK NORTH DAKOTA ST 9 LB10

PARRIS, TIMON STONY BROOK 2 OL31 (Didn't play vs JMU- injured/out for season Oct)
FRANKLIN-MYERS, JOHN STEPHEN F AUSTIN 8 DL33
HARRIS, DAVONTAE ILLINOIS ST 10 DB13
JACKSON, DARIUS JACKSONVILLE ST-AL 9 LB19 (Won Buchanan award).
JOHNSON, DANNY SOUTHERN A&M 10 DB19
LEONARD, DARIUS SOUTH CAROLINA ST 9 LB25
NEAL, SIRAN JACKSONVILLE ST-AL 11 DB60
PARKER, BRANDON NORTH CAROLINA A&T ST 2 OL30
SENAT, GREG WAGNER 2 OL38
THOMAS, ROC JACKSONVILLE ST-AL 3 RB26
WADE, D'MONTRE MURRAY ST 10 DB39

Saw an article from a few hours ago that said that said 326 were invited. So 18 I-AA is less than 6%...
From what I've been able to look up, last year 256 players drafted, only 15 I-AA, is less than 6%..

Thanks for coming up with the list. Still a mystery why no one from JMU was invited.

RE: Pro Dukes
When no Dukes were selected for the any of the all-star games back in January (e.g., Shrine Game, Senior Bowl), I guess I shouldn't be too surprised none were invited to the Combine...though, it is a little surprising still.

I assume the Dukes will have a Pro Day on campus sometime next month. Pretty important those guys prep for and perform well to help their cause. Still feel confident at minimum they will get a look as a UDFA.

As far as JSU,
-one of them, Darius Jackson won the Buck Buchanan for top defensive player in the country. 2 time OVC defensive player of the year (yeah I know weak league). He looked legit when I saw JSU play. Projected as a 6th rounder.
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsp...genpos=OLB

-one of them, Roc Thomas, was a 5 star RB, rated the #2 HS RB in the nation as a senior.
https://rivals.com/content/prospects/201...omas-20432
Didn't pan out like projected at Auburn & transferred to JSU after 2 seasons. 2 seasons at JSU put up very good good but not eye popping #s in that league (2 time 1st team All OVC, this past season OVC offensive POTY, 1095 yds/6.0 ypc). Also projected 6th round.
http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsp...&genpos=RB

-the 3rd JSU player, a SS, is projected as a 4th-5th rd draft pick.
