I wouldn't mind the seeing the notion of HP-universe magic being explored in settings outside the UK. FBWFT is American magic and that is a good start. It will be interesting to see where post-Potter series goes next.

Seems like a giant cash grab, like Rogue One. IMO there are parts of a story's canon that I just don't need to know about.

Not sure how I feel about it.... I mean... unless it really ties to a critical plot point but.... seems like everything has to have a gay character now... Not to say a show or movie cant have one or shouldn't have one but some of this seems kind of tacked on to tack on...

J.K. Rowling always meant for him to be gay. It reads pretty much like he is in the books, especially when it comes to Grindelwald.
