Exclamation "First Group of Five Five-Star Signee" Houston...
Will someone please tell Houston they weren't the first Group of Five team to sign a five-star kid?

Correct. We all know that Marshall signs at least 20 "5-star" recruits every year. 04-cheers

And here's what a sure thing 5-star recruits are....

Did DeAndre Brown ever play a down in the NFL? Looks like he was waived on Aug 8th his rookie year. And now, he's a "free aget" just like me. 04-rock

Just saying.........03-lmfao

I believe it was ESPN who first pushed that narrative, and thus the claim is reflective of their rankings. The entire thing is silly. Obviously Ed Oliver has lived up to the hype. But if he came in rated four stars instead of five stars, it makes zero difference on the playing field.

If we start being inclusive of all ratings, then I guess we can add Kyle Allen to our "list." He was Rivals' #1 QB in the '14 class.

It's just a dumb talking point for the broadcast. Not sure why you seem unnerved by it.

let the big boys have the prima donnas.....I'll take as many 3s as I can get my hands on all day and the eighth one...

edit: fyi, battery boy is anthony alford

Of all the cryptic things you've posted here, you feel compelled to explain "battery boy"?

Brown would have been a sure bet for the NFL if his leg hadn't fallen into little pieces.

He would have been a sure bet if he had any work ethic. From friends who played on the team with him, he never rehabbed his leg and didn't work hard at all in practice. Andy Reid said he was the most talented player he'd seen, but he had no work ethic.

hence the point I was attempting to make....

let the prima donnas flounder as they will in the end.....

when it comes to lack of ethics.....I have zero sympathy....and he screwed his own pooch after the injury.....

whatever strife he or others feel he is now enduring......kiss it.....this is what real people endiure.....they figure out how to work and make real coin that matters....or they fall on their face and floss with their pusssy talking points....
