Firstly, I don't know why he put himself in the poistion of being the one to decide if Hillary should be charged or not. That's the responsibility of prosecutors in the Justice Department.

Secondly, I applaud him for contacting congress with this latest information, as he said he would if any new evidence came to light.

Thirdly, it appears that a revolt from within the FBI is what pushed him to release the info even though it will do little to repair the damage he's done. Either way, he's toast in January.

Fourthly, he made the biggest mistake of his life back in July and I still hate him.

1. Comey was supposed to either suggest or not suggest criminal proceedings. He did not. When he inserted his opinion, he did a disservice to himself and the FBI.

2. Comey probably made a political mistake by sending a letter to Congress. If nothing comes of this, he will likely have to resign.

3. I agree with your third point 100%.

4. I do not hate Comey. I actually like the guy. I think he has made some mistakes however that has in fact ruined his career.

I have read a number of possible scenarios as to how the emails got on Weiner's laptop, the most plausible being that Huma used his laptop as a back up to hers so she knowingly copied the contents over.

Another was that she was copying over contacts from her laptop and inadvertently copied over the entire contents of her laptop instead of just the contacts.

It is also possible that Weiner acted on his own to copy the contents from her laptop to his maybe as a sort of "insurance policy."

Sure. All three of those are plausible.

But, He has no clearance. None.

What he DID have was ready access to what is likely top secret/classified materiel that came from State, via the "secure" homebrew server she decided to set up in the basement to avoid FOIA requests and Congressional oversight.

It was set up intentionally, there can be no disputing that. That, spells intent right there. The very thing Comey said in July he "couldn't find".

She, Huma and possibly Mills will be indicted. Weiner may find some shoelaces somewhere at his "rehab" gig.

Not necessarily directing this at you MP, just furthering the discussion (I hope).

Either Huma or Weiner or both will be in trouble for that info ending up on his laptop. This act still does not implicate HRC. It implicates Huma or Weiner.

It's the content of those emails is what could bury HRC.

I do agree that HRC's home brew server being set up in and of itself says intent not negligence. There is no reason she set that up other than trying to subvert FOIA.
