Why aren't they number one in the rankings?

Crooked system. Duh.

^^^ THIS ^^^. It's hard to say whether the Cardinals defense would hold up or not, because the offense is getting destroyed by the Cougars "D". UGLY!

Maybe UL can come back in the 2nd half (but if they don't do something early in the 3rd I'm going to bed... 03-tired )

Orlando is at the head of my list if something unexpected were to happen with Venables. Love his attacking scheme and I believe it would fit perfectly with the talent we have assembled.

That being said I doubt we get the chance because I believe Venables is perfectly happy to be making HC money with nowhere near the responsibility.

Orlando is following Herman to Texas, Texas A&M, or Oregon.

Remains to be seen. It's not like they have a long history of working together. If I were Herman and I got the A&M job my first order of business would be extending the contract of Chief Chavis.

RE: Open Thread 2016 - Week 12
It's not over yet. I have seen Louisville score 40+ points in a half.

All week we have heard about Louisville's players upset about their ranking. Petrino asking the media what it wants a few weeks ago and so on. The answer was clear. They aren't putting you in the playoff because you beat Duke, Marshall, UVA, Syracuse, Boston College, Marshall and NC State.

Wake Forest is a quality win.
Clemson is a quality loss.
FSU was a quality win.

Houston can be a quality win.
Kentucky can be a quality win.

Gotta worry about the games. Get off twitter and get your heads in the game.

Do something quick to start the half and get back in this game.

Herman doesn't strike me as the type that would forget those who helped him get where he is. They aren't winning all of these games just on offense.

Chavis is a great DC but he is 60. Orlando is in his 40s. If I'm A&M, I go for the youth movement.

Of course they have been angry with officials. That's Louisville's specialty.

Do you just hate Louisville or do you not want fat stacks from 2 playoff teams?

(3) A conference will receive $6 million for each team that is selected for the semifinal games. There will be no additional distribution to conferences whose teams qualify for the national championship game. A conference will receive $4 million for each team that plays in a non-playoff bowl under the arrangement (in 2014-2015, the Cotton, Fiesta and Peach Bowls).

Orlando is a star. He's got great talent at Houston but just think of what he can do with SEC talent.

I am mocking the crybabies on Louisville's team and in their fanbase. They have been crying since the Clemson game about how the refs are crooked and since the first playoff rankings were released about how it's rigged.

Well, this isn't the refs. All the calls I have seen are clear as day.

31-7. Now just gotta get another stop.

If Louisville practices without the ball to prepare for Georgia Tech's option .... will they still manage to fumble?
